"Went one above and beyond what I was expecting I had someone else install the system they couldn’t fix it he come out and diagnosed it within a half hour. He contacted Solar edge. Talked with them about my warranty. Got everything covered under warranty. Had the parts shipped. Come back and installed the parts .Can’t say enough good things about Josh. For him to do everything he did when he did not install, the system was a blessing very fair price. I can’t forget he answered a lot of questions for me that I had went into very detailed explanation. I understand a lot more about the system."

"Jake & his crew poured a new shower pan, built a new side wall, installed 3 different sizes of shower tile, grouted tile and installed shower doors.
They did a great job.  Jake communicated in a professional manner and really cares about doing a good job.  Very responsive to our requests.
They were considerably less expensive than other options we looked into.  We would definitely use them again and have already recommended them to a friend.

Solar Panels questions, answered by experts

On average, a typical fridge uses 115 kWh per month. With eight hours of sunlight per day, a 100-watt solar panel can produce 30 kWh per month. This means you’ll need at least four dedicated panels to power the refrigerator with solar energy. Consult with a solar power specialist to get a more accurate estimate.

Solar panels should get at least four to six hours of direct sunlight daily. It’s even better if sunlight reaches panels between the peak hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. This is enough to power a home, depending on your solar system’s size and energy needs. Remember that panels will generate some power under cloudy skies or in the shade, and many systems compensate for lower sun exposure by drawing energy from the grid or battery storage.

Solar well pumps range from needing 200 watts of power to as much as 12,000 watts for heavy-duty pumps. Since the most common and cost-friendly solar panels are 100-watt panels, you’ll need between two and 12 panels. The average is between two and eight panels for standard pumps. Based on the average cost of solar panels ($1 to $1.50 per watt), you’d pay between $200 and $1,800 for your well pump solar panels—not including installation.

You shouldn’t hook up a solar panel directly to a battery. That can damage the solar battery and your appliances over time. Instead, install a charge controller between your solar panel and solar battery. Charge controllers regulate voltage, prevent overcharging, and minimize the amount of electrical current to protect your battery from voltage spikes.

Yes, solar panel installation will require permits. The required permits will depend on where you live, as some states and cities have solar-specific permits, while others only require electrical permits to connect to the grid. In either case, it’s best to hire a reputable solar installer in your area, as a representative should handle all of the necessary permitting for you and will include the cost of the permits in your initial solar estimate.
