"Our property sits in several acres of woods.  The old retaining walls made from railroad ties were aging and rotting.  Mike drafted a new design made of decorative concrete blocks.  Dan and his crew removed all our existing walls and built new ones.  An important retaining wall on a slope behind the house had to be made from wood due to the steep incline.  This new wall is more sturdy and aesthetically pleasing than the original.  Mike added a 3' high handrail to the functional wall.  It really enhances our back view.  Some areas proved particularly challenging, but Dan and the guys were undeterred.  The wall surrounding the culvert on both sides was particularly difficult because of tree roots and rocks and boulders in the creek bed.  They continually problem-solved and persisted until two beautiful walls were crafted.  Dan, the site foreman,  is very conscientious and meticulous and takes great pride in his work.  It is well-deserved.  As he worked around the property, he made sure every area was solidly and precisely built.  The men were professional, hard-working, knowledgeable and courteous.  They worked seemingly tirelessly, even on the days of record-breaking 106+ degrees.  As a result, they finished the work ahead of schedule and we now have new, beautiful, well-crafted retaining walls that add to our enjoyment, peace of mind and property value.  We recommend Earth-Wood Arts for quality hardscaping work.

"We own a beautiful piece of property with a private lake in rural
Indiana.  Unfortunately, the lakefront view left a lot to be desired. 
We have always talked about putting in a beach area and some type of
patio from the back of the house.  We had no clue where to begin so we
called Jason McCord at Nagas Landscape Design.
Jason and his staff put in a small beach area for us next to our dock. 
They pushed the sand into the lake to make access to the water easier. 
They also added decorative stone and some low maintenance plants from
their nursery.  The stone is beautiful and the plants were healthy and
bloomed all summer long, as promised.  They laid a huge paver brick patio and
added a retaining wall where soil was eroding away.  Everything turned
out fantastic.  We are so pleased with the results and the quality of
the work provided.  Everyone worked very hard through some extremely hot
weather in order to complete the project by the date we requested. 
Jason, Lori and all of their staff were professional, friendly, 
hardworking and knowledgeable in their field. 
We liked them so much that we asked them to stay at the house and watch
our dogs so we could attend a family event out of town recently.   
I was so happy to finally find someone I could trust to take care of
our 2 Newfoundlands.  They took wonderful care of the boys, fed and
watered them, gave them medication, and I am sure endured many kisses
and lots of dog hair.  We had some family visit from out of town before
we left and Lori took it upon herself to wash all the wet towels and
some of the mountains of other laundry we did not have time to finish
before we left.  I knew my dogs were in good hands and was able to enjoy
my weekend without worry.  As an added bonus, the house was spotless
when we returned!
