Bill, the owner, was very involved in the project to make sure it went well and met our hopes. He and his designer helped us select materials and colors to add beauty to our home. The workers were courteous and professional, and promptly addressed any concerns about how the finished product looked. When an unexpected pattern showed up in the slate tiles, we were assured it would be fixed, and it was. Key's clear goal was our satisfaction. We love our roof and get many compliments on it. "The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"Sales lady was very nice and gave me a good education. Quoted me $9K for 4 windows then I asked for siding. That came it at $30K without the windows and $32K with the windows which she said "it is like getting the windows for free". Well $9K was the quote she just gave me for 4 windows so I don't think there is anything in the $32K quote that is free. Then she said that the $32K was 50% off. Really, $64K to do a 1900 sq ft home where the bank only loaned me $127K for when I bought it 3 years ago. It was this quote that triggered 10 more quotes, seriously! I normally only do 3 quotes but these numbers were outrageous. The siding was not even top of the line however the fiberglass windows were indeed nice but not worth $9K for 3 small windows and 1 large window. I found another provider for less than 1/2 this quote which is more in line with my budget and the siding is top of the line Crane board in Regatta Blue and Pella double hung windows. Keep shopping!"

Legacy Windows and Mark were excellent to work with.  Replaced all the original wood windows and exterior doors which were 23 years old.  Mark was great to educate us on the different options and window technologies available.  His quote was 30-50% less than 2 other company's quotes including more options than other company's (panes, wood stain match).  From time of order for all of the material it was only 5 weeks till installation.  The color on the exterior vinyl was a good match to our vinyl siding and we had a near exact match on the interior faux stain of the windows which matched an existing wood trim stain.  With Mark's recommendation, we replaced a painted steel front door with a vinyl door stained to match the interior wood trim.  Again an excellent match and we have received many compliments from our neighbors on the new front door; excellent street appeal.

They were very accommodating to our schedule.  The installation crew were very professional, friendly and clean; even had a day or two of inclement weather and they were able to handle it with no problem. The front door required an adjustment several weeks after installation and Legacy was responsive to come out and make the adjustment.

Our house was much warmer (less drafty) during the winter with the new windows and we are enjoying reduced energy cost.  Legacy Window and Mark Spencer are definitely worth considering for any window or door replacement projects!!
