"It went great.  The walls in one bathroom were in rough shape owing to wallpaper removal efforts on my part.  I thought Pro Decor would just paint the room but they exceeded expectations with the skim coat.  The ceiling in the kitchen had a bad seam where a wall had been removed and badly patched by a contractor.  Pro Decor dug out those bad results and fixed it correctly.  It all looks great and the price was equally great."

"I originally painted the entire interior of my house, I've painted for years and am a decent painter.  Well, I don't have as much time as I used to have, so I decided to bring in an outside contractor to paint a few rooms in our house.  We contacted Larry at Five Star Painting and he came over within a few days to discuss and measure the rooms we wanted done.  He then had his color consultant come in as we weren't quite sure what shade we wanted (It was to be a pink baby girl's room) and once we had decided on the color we set a date and were ready to go.Larry showed up promptly when he said he would, and the job was well done.  So well done in fact that we have had them back to paint multiple rooms (including a 2 story wall in a stairwell and an entryway) and every time they have done a great job.  We're getting ready for more painting work and I will be contacting Larry to do it.  His workers are great and they always make sure we are happy before signing off on the job."

"Marcos Lara (owner) and Jose painted one bedroom.  They were both very pleasant, professional, easy to work with, etc.  They put 2 coats of paint on the walls.  They did an excellent job.  After they cleaned up and left I noticed a couple of small spots of paint on the wood baseboard trim, which I removed...not a big  deal.  Overall, I was very pleased with how it turned out and the quality of their work.

"Chris Norton is the salt of the earth! He is professional and pleasant to work with. And, his work is second to none. We initially hired Chris to remove the wallpaper in our 35' hallway. I thought it was a big job, so I didn't plan for him to remove the wallpaper from the staircase and mudroom that day but he was so quick, he was able to remove all of it is just 8 hours saving me a great deal of time and money. We liked him so much, we hired him to come back and remove the wallpaper in our laundry room then paint everything. In all Chris painted our hallway, a bedroom (ceiling, 2 coats on walls, and trim), two bathrooms, two staircases, a large mudroom and 13 doors and all the trim. It was a monster job but Chris showed up to work on-time everyday ready to work.
He was also very neat and clean while he worked and never minded the kids and animals that bumped into him throughout the day. At night, he cleaned up everything and put his materials neatly away for the next day.
His work is fantastic. The wallpaper in the laundry room put up a fight and some of the drywall was damaged. Chris patched everything perfectly saving us from hiring a drywaller.
Now, the problem is getting on his schedule to get him to paint the deck and gutters! This is one painter we will know for many years to come!  Thanks Chris!

"This was the second time I've hired Joel Thomas as an exterior painter, and I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family. Mr. Thomas returned my call within a day and gave me a lower estimate than I expected by the next day (same price as five years ago). He painted samples on two areas of my house so I could decide what I liked best, and he bought the paint brand and texture I chose. He returned my calls promtly and he and his helper, Robert, were always courteous, flexible, and professional. They did neat and careful work without drips on the brick or damage to my landscaping. Mr. Thomas sprayed the house and also resprayed and hand painted rougher areas in the cedar so that the coverage was uniform and thorough. He did this without my asking him. The spray washing was completed within a week and the actual painting by the next week, over a few days' time despite dangerously high temperatures. A few grace notes, I was worried about my dog getting loose; but every day the latch had been securely shut on the back gate. The painters also moved the outside furniture back onto the porches when they were done, even though I had moved it off myself before the job started."

"I purchased a Deal for 16 Hours of painting for $399.00 with Priority Painting. Max contacted me immediately after purchase and asked for 3 dates to come paint my house. We agreed on a date, but agreed to cancel the night before work was to begin due to weather. Max asked if we could do it the following week which was acceptable to me. He said he would be there at 8:30 AM.
At 8:25 AM Max and his Associate pulled into the driveway. After introductions and a review of the rooms, they immediately got busy prepping. Max expressed concern that the areas I wanted painted would not take the full 16 hours I had paid for and asked if there was another area that I wanted done. I thought that very nice as he could have just "milked" the time. I told him not to worry about about it as I thought the price I paid for the job was more than fair regardless of the number of hours it took. 
They moved all of the furniture that was too heavy for me and patched a few dings in the walls and all of the previous nail holes. They removed all the switch plate and outlet covers and curtain rods. After that they carefully taped off everything and began painting.
I had to leave for a few hours, but felt comfortable leaving them alone in my home. I gave Max my cell number if he needed to get in touch while I was gone.
When I returned, they were cleaning up and moving the furniture back. The room and hall looked beautiful. I was very pleased with the quality and professional attitude of Priority Painting. I asked for a quote for another part of my home and Max cheerfully provided a very reasonable price. I will have him do the rest of the house soon. Priority Painting exceeded my expectations on price, quality and responsiveness. He is obviously very proud of his business and is very good at his craft.

"Jim Spears and his crew demonstrated why they have previously scored so highly on Angie's list. Over the five visits, the crew was always timely and have transformed what was a tired looking living room and dining room into like new wall surfaces. In the 12x24 living room, they removed the old canvas like wall covering, skimmed all the walls and replaced the plaster in a textured ceiling and two wall areas that had completely broken away. The dining room was the real test where ultra thick textured plaster was on all walls. The walls were floated to a smooth finish and sanded. The finished product looks great and Jim and his team were committed to addressing any detailing that needed performed following priming of the walls.
