Very good! I had hire them before, they have done work for me for about 6 or 7 years ago.

I had initially set a day and time with the service provider and took time off from work. He told me last night (the night before they were suppose to start) that they needed to change the time to later in the afternoon, and he then gave me a second time that he said he would do it. I cannot afford to take extra time after we had already scheduled . We asked that we be compensated in some way to make up for the time that was wasted. He was unwilling to compromise in any way. And was very disrespectful to my boyfriend who was trying calmly to fix the problem. I would strongly advise against anyone hiring this company in the future. He is much higher in price as many of his competitors in the area

It was excellent! They were great. First of all, with the exterior painting, I got a free consultation from a decorator that helped me pick out colors. That proved to be extremely helpful. The owner is very easy to work with and he supervised the work. The painters were very skilled and extremely professional, polite, and clean.The work was done in a very timely manner-it only took two and a half days, and I have a pretty big house. I have an older home and one of my shutters had broken. There wasn't much of a way to replace it but they created the broken piece and it looks wonderful! I will definitely use them again.

They do great work. I like working with the owner or manager,  Larry. They do work to 100 percent satisfaction. They always come back and fix whatever to be fixed in order for me to be happy.

It was a generally good experience. They seemed prompt and they did the job done. They cleaned up after themselves and easy to work with.

Larry was the ultimate professional- knowledgeable, reliable, prompt with follow through at each phase of the project to ensure satisfaction. The cost may be a bit higher than others providing similar services, but included services of a decorator to assist with color selection. I will certainly consider using Larry and his team for future projects.

Everything went excellent. He was very diligent in making sure that every area he painted was covered, so the house was still livable during the work. He was very clean & moved all the furniture at no charge.

We picked Five Star because of Angie's List and were extremely satisfied, from choosing colors and specifying locations of different colors. They did a lot of extra trimwork at no extra cost. Every aspect was good.

Five Star Painting showed up when they said they would, they stayed on the job till it was completed.  They were very thorough and hard working.  Five Star honored their quote despite it turning out to be more work than expected!

Arrived on time polite and hard working attention to detail. Very quiet and businesslike cleaned up well. Very pleased with work.

Larry and his crew are awesome.  We couldn't be happier.  They were timely, hard working and left the area cleaner than when they arrived.  We are so impressed, we are having Larry give us an estimate on other painting projects at our home.

As far as the quality of work, all aspects were really good. The only aspect of the service I would give a lower grade was price, which I knew going into the project, but felt that it was worth it because they went above and beyond on detailing and the work that was performed. Larry was very professional and was terrific.

Five Star Painting did a good job with the painting. There were a number of delays because of the weather and there were times when I did not hear back from the company. They came out and gave a very thorough estimate which we appreciated very much but once we said we want the work done, I had a very hard time getting in touch with the owner and it was a bit frustrating trying to get a sense of what was going on and the communication wasn't great. He had told me that he was on every job site and that ended up not being the case but ultimately we were happy with the job. It was fairly frustrating getting to that point, I didn't get return calls from him and I felt like there could have been a better job of communication on their end.

We had an excellent experience from the estimate process all the way to the final inspection. I was impressed by the thoroughness of the estimate process. Larry's questions were much more detailed than other companies that I spoke with. He made me feel confident that he knew what he was doing, especially with our house, which was built in 1905 and is in a historic neighborhood. We also had to have some wood repair done, and Larry's recommendation of a contractor was also excellent. Larry and the contractor had worked together on other projects, so they coordinated their schedules and I did not have to worry about anything. Five Star offered a paint color consultant, which I did use and found the consultant helpful in choosing new colors. There is a lot of trim and they were very willng to get the colors right for that. They gave us the third color accents at no extra charge. The house was power washed carefully (because of the age and condition of the wood siding) and all the windows were covered before painting started. The paint crew worked harder than I have ever seen people work, from early in the morning to evening. They kept all their equipment stored neatly from day to day, and did a great job with clean up. They were careful with my plants around the yard. I went with Larry and Five Star because he made me feel comfortable, and because it was an excellent price and quality. If I have the opportunity to hire a painting company again, it willbe Five Star.

Larry came out and gave us a great quote. He also came each day to our home to inspect the work. Roger and Juanita did a great job and paid close attention to detail. I have used them in the past and will use them again, if needed.

This was my second time using Five Star Painting and again I was thrilled with the work.  Larry and crew are top notch!  From the quote to the final walk through Larry, the owner, is there to make sure you are 100% satisfied with the work.  Roger and assistant did the work on this project and did a beautiful job.  They take great care to protect the floors and furniture while cleaning up at the end of each day and at the end of the project. 
Good painters are hard to find and I will be using Larry & Five Star for all my future painting needs.  As a matter of fact they are scheduled to do the exterior of my house as soon as the weather turns warmer.

After closing on a new home, Five Star started painting the very next day.  They worked through the weekend to finish the project on a very tight time schedule.  They finished ahead of schedule and on estimate.  The quality of work was outstanding.  They did more in 4 days than I could have in 4 weeks - and it looked excellent.  Everyone was professional, knowledgeable and courteous.  I would definitely recommend them.

Larry arrived promptly to provide me an estimate for the painting job.  He measured and observed the job requirements.  He explained that the painters would move the heavy furniture.  I just needed to clear items from counters, shelves, etc.  The next morning, he provided me the estimate.  I thought the bid was reasonable for the amount of work.  We set up a date for the work to be completed.  Larry asked the paint color consultant follow up with me. 
Rachel, the paint color consultant, met me at my home within a couple of days.  I had an idea of what colors I wanted.  She helped me narrow down the choices and helped me ensure the different color paints in adjoining rooms would look good together.  She ordered large size paint swatches from the manufacturer so I could confirm that I was happy with the colors.
Walter, the project manager, called me the day before the job was to start to confirm the time they would be arriving.  They arrived promptly the next morning.  Larry, Walter, and Roger, the crew leader, walked my home with me.  We confirmed which colors/sheens were to go in which rooms.  They completed the job in two full days.  The first evening, they cleaned up nicely and left the painting supplies in the garage as agreed.  When the job was done at the end of the second day, Walter walked the home with me to ensure everything looked good and nothing had been missed.  The paint looked great and all the furniture was back in place.  The house was left in clean condition.
I am very happy with their work!  They offer a two year warranty on their work.

Excellent job from preparation through clean up. Owner Larry Harkleroad & the project manager Walter, were easy to work with, stayed on schedule although we had a few rain delays. Very accommodatingly to special requests.0

Good. After the weather cooperated, the job was started and completed in the period promised.

It went smoothly & was done on time.  Issues with paint colors not quite matching samples (fault of paint store) were resolved & everything is perfect.
