About us

We maintain a small staff of 4 full time employees, 3 part time employees, and 2 professional groomers. Cost is dependent upon services rendered. A pick up and delivery service is available Monday - Friday for residents in Boone county and portions of Henry, Hamilton, and Marion counties for an additional fee. We are open Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 12Noon & 2:30 - 6:00 PM, Saturday: 8am - 4pm, Sunday: CLOSED.

Hickory Acres Kennel offers: Short and long term dog and cat boarding options, doggy daycare, all breed grooming, an additional playtime/walking service, a temperature controlled environment year-round, individual indoor/outdoor runs, and Precise brand pet food. Owners live on site.

Description of Work: We have been taking our dogs to Hickory Acres for years and have never been disappointed. This time we boarded Katie, our Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) for three days and had her groomed. She loves the crew at Hickory Acres and they are really good with her. She came home looking very perky, complete with a Holloween bandana! We would never hesitate to use the services of Hickory Acres. They have an outstanding facility with lots of outdoor space and seem to really love dogs.

WE APPRECIATE ALL FEED BACK FROM CUSTOMERS BECAUSE IT ALLOWS US TO MAKE IMPROVEMENTS OR CHANGES. THIS MEMBER EMAILED REQUESTING A RESERVATION. UNFORTUNATELY FOR US, OUR INTERNET PROVIDER WAS EXPERIENCING SERVICE ISSUES. ALTHOUGH OUR "HIGH-TECH" WORLD HAS BECOME QUITE ADVANCED, IT IS STILL NOT AS DEPENDABLE AS REGULAR TELEPHONE, LAND LINES.
