- Allied Fence Co IncI wanted to take the time to come on and write a 5- star review because I had a really great experience with Allied Fence, in particular Larry! I had a unique job, and was looking for a fence that was aesthetically pleasing and also secure from coyotes because we have an issue with them on our property, and I wanted to protect my small dogs. I didn’t even know where to begin. I had another company out first to quote us the job, and they were useless in advising me on those things. I wasn’t sure what type of fence would be right. Working with Larry with Allied, on the contrary, was amazing. He is a passionate worker and truly wanted to help me get the best fence for the purpose and also look nice. He advised me toward a regular 6’ cedar fence with coyote rollers along the top, and I couldn’t be happier with the end result! There were some bumps along the way, later on, because the fence dried over the following months and the coyote rollers needed maintenance and some bolts needed to be tightened. Some brackets also needed to be replaced with longer ones to make the rollers fully functional after the fence had dried and moved. That being said, I called Larry and Allied sent a crew out THREE more times to fix every little thing, and now it’s perfect! No extra charge for the added labor. He explained the electronics and how they work. We worked to find the best placement for my electronics monitor box since my garage does not have an outlet on an outside facing wall. The box was installed in my living room (my suggestion) under a table that sits on an outside facing wall and near an outlet. It is also hidden by a curtain, so it all works out. The technician thoroughly explained the training program for my six-month old poodle mix so that he could learn the boundaries. I was left with an instruction sheet and told to call if there were any problems or questions. I followed the program as instructed and my puppy learned and responded to the beeping of the collar very quickly. I can go to the mailbox or neighbor's yard knowing that my puppy will stay in the yard! He usually waits for me at the front door :-) I'm so glad that we chose to have the fence installed to keep the rascal safe

- Atlanta DogWatch Hidden FenceI wish I had done this sooner! We live on acreage with 3 labradoodles. The dogs had to stay in the house unless I went outside with them because they chase deer and are also social and love to visit nearby houses. I worried for their safety for years. My reason for not getting an invisible fence is that I wouldn't be able to take them on long walks on our land. Amanda was excellent and came out to teach them how to "safe cross" and I couldn't believe they could understand the difference. We used a red towel in training and it worked like a charm! They know now when we take their collars off and say "safe cross" they can zoom across the border with no hesitation at all. We only fenced the perimeter of our house (not the whole property) and they hang near the house anyway when they are out by themselves (on decks, by pool, etc,). We also decided to add an interior zone to block off the dining room where our oldest dog liked to sneak off and go potty, Having the indoor device has saved my rug in there! Since we already had the collars it was just a matter of adding one piece of inexpensive equipment. DogWatch used the same white flag system so the dogs learned it immediately. Amanda takes excellent care of us and is always available for any questions. This system has been a game changer for me! I only wish had spent the money years ago. "Salesperson via email, very helpful. 2 Installers came 8 am on the date scheduled, worked all day, completed the installation by 4:30 pm. Trainer came out when scheduled, spent all the time required, did not rush through the training, to make sure I was comfortable training my dog on the do's & don't's of the new fence. Trainer was also responsive to two follow-up texts w questions. Only 2 things that kept this from being 5-stars across the board: When I emailed the original salesperson 6 months later asking if someone next time they were in the area could drop off a handful of metal flags (the landscapers had ruined some of them with their mower), she said they charged for flags. This wasn't the response I expected, as I imagine they order these small flags in boxloads containing 1,000 or more. Second issue, and it may be associated with my property more than the install, but I'm seeing the "buried" DogWatch electrical line running around half my property (I would have thought they would have trenched the line deeper than they did; as I do not see the cable or internet line, or any other power or other lines becoming exposed). Overall though, the company and the product are good and performing as I'd hoped.
