"Was an emergency.  Not one other company bothered to call me back when I got a hold of these folks.  They happened to be right near by and did the work that day.  I wasn't there when the work was done.  They could have done a little better job on the tree and the price was a little steep, but it was an emergency and they were the only game in town.  I will use them again because my regular tree guy still hasn't called me back.

"This was a two tree job of trunks twelve inches or less. Fairly easy job compared to others I have had done. Sixteen days later the job was finally completed. And Iâ m not sure it would still be done if they would not have contacted me for payment even before the job was complete. I told them the check is ready when the job is complete. Crew was here the next morning. Last clean up is not their best quality."

If you are transferring a palm to another pot, you’ll want to move up a size or two to a larger pot. Make sure the pot has excellent drainage to keep the palm from getting waterlogged.

It’s not always easy to tell when a tree is dying, although signs like dropping branches and brittle bark can sometimes offer clues. It can also be difficult to know whether a tree is dead or dormant, especially if it’s a deciduous tree. You’ll want to wait until a growth season to get a good idea of a tree’s health. Opt for a barefoot tree. Pros harvest barefoot trees when they’re dormant (leafless). They shake the dirt from the root ball and pack it in moist material. 

These trees can cost half as much as the trees at your local nursery, and you can buy them online—so there’s a much wider selection. Just make sure you keep your barefoot tree cool until you’re ready to plant it.

If it’s your property, then you can plant a tree near power lines, but it’s not the best idea. Any vegetation that grows within 10 feet or so of power lines will fall under the responsibility of the utility company, and they may trim or remove it as necessary. If you do move forward with your plan, try to choose a smaller ornamental tree, plant it as far away from the power lines as you can, and keep it trimmed to avoid future problems.
