Hi! My name is Marcus Hoone. I own a local, family operated lawn fertilization and weed control specialized company. My company, Grass Roots Lawn Service, has been in business since 1983 serving the greater Indianapolis area. My dad, Joe, started the company and I began working with him in 1995. I then got my BS in Agronomy from Purdue University in 2000 and began working full time with my dad. in 2008 I bought the business from him. I run all daily operations and have stayed small intentionally in order to provide my customers with the very best experience and service possible. All work is done either by me or my brother...we don’t sub out any work so you can rest assured that if you hire us, you always get us at your home or business. Having your lawn work done by someone with a strong knowledge base means you can expect a higher quality treatment that gives you better results. Also, just as important, you have an experienced eye always on you lawn with each visit, looking for potential issues before they are a problem. If there is ever an issue, we proactively address that and alert you. There is not any extra charge for this and many times the solution won’t require additional services or expense. In the long run, you get a healthier, greener lawn with us!
