"Excellent. The difference between the old drafty windows and the new ones is amazing. I haven't had to have a space heater running all night. I can't wait to see what the difference will be on my utility bills this winter and summer. Plus can have windows open in the summer now because my old ones didn't even have screens.

I flip houses and do remodeling for a living and have done business with the owner in the past. Always professional and even came by during the installation to check on the progress and quality. I will continue to use Windows Direct of Cincinnati in all of my future progects and highly recommend them. I have recommend them to friends, neighbors, and other contractors also."

"Mr. Hilligoss completed a full kitchen remodel and partial bath. He removed a baring wall and did all in a timely professional manner. His work was completed exactly as promised and looks absolutely amazing. I then hired Mr Hilligoss to do another bath upgrade at another property and again his work was flawless, on time and reasonably priced. I will reach out to him for any construction needs I may have in the future and would HIGHLY recommend his services. A good contractor who is honest, timely and does quality work is hard to find, but here’s one. Give him a call. Very pleased."

Also replaced bathroom tiles , fixed pantry door , and also nailed all loose trim around house , replaced upstairs toilet and removed old one . Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel questions, answered by experts

Adding a bedroom can increase a home’s value more than adding a bathroom, but it varies with factors like the location, age, and condition of the home. However, remember that you might also need to add a bathroom to the home, depending on how many bedrooms and bathrooms you currently have.

Yes, you can remove a bathtub yourself if you have previous DIY experience and basic plumbing knowledge. You should have at least one other person help you if you approach this project as a DIY. However, hiring a plumber or bathroom remodeling pro can prevent accidental damage from demolition or water leakage.

If you plan to make bathroom updates in the near future, try to lump in a few smaller projects with your shower door installation. Most contractors charge a flat rate for smaller projects like updating a fixture. If you lump it in with other projects, you may not have to pay an additional visit fee. Projects to consider doing when you replace your shower door include: Replacing the tile in your shower Updating the showerhead Updating other bathroom fixtures Minor repairs, like fixing small leaks and worn caulk Installing water-safe recessed lighting in your shower

Most design projects take 2-6 weeks, depending on revisions and material selections.

There are several ways to save money on a bathroom remodel through proper planning and savvy design strategies. To reduce costs, consider the following:

  • Purchase your own materials: Buy your own bathroom fixtures, hardware, and other materials to avoid contractor upcharges and delivery fees.

  • Shop smart for big-ticket items: Save on pricey items like tiles and tubs by shopping sales and at discount stores.

  • Avoid major layout changes: Keep plumbing in its current location. Opt to replace fixtures rather than moving them to avoid significant renovation work.

  • Focus on high-impact, low-cost updates: Make affordable but impactful smaller changes, such as upgrading hardware, installing new lighting, and adding stylish but economical accessories.

  • DIY where possible: Handle easier parts of the remodel yourself, like painting or installing light fixtures, to save on labor costs.

  • Time your remodel strategically: Consider remodeling in the spring, which tends to be a lower-demand time of year and may result in lower costs.
