Customers say: Quality work

"Van Croshier Concrete were very professional throughout the quote process to replace out driveway. Van and Vicki were extremely patient with any questions we had. They also offered references for other projects they completed. Due to some unforeseen expenses, unrelated to this project, we decided not to pursue replacing our driveway in 2021. Based on my experience, we would consider Van Croshier as a contractor on any future projects."

"My garage floor was full of pits and cracks when the installer started. This crew had a system of working together, not stopping: grinding, sweeping, patching and applying the product. I now have a beautiful garage floor to be proud of. ADPRO CONCRETE COATINGS is the way to go"

"Tradesmen Concrete extended our drive way for us and did a wonderful job! They matched the color so GREAT! We were actually out of town when they did the job, but our neighbor said that they did such good work and cleaned up their mess meticulously which I really appreciate and shows that even when the customer is not around, they take pride in their work. Highly recommended!"

"Clint and his crew were amazingly professional and treated our house with so much respect. They even bring their own door mat to place inside the door so they can stand on it when they're putting booties on before walking through the house. They patched 4 different holes that were made when we updated the bathtub and shower fixtures and it came out great. The resurfacing itself was even better than I had imagined it in my mind and I love the fact that they use eco friendly chemicals. They even add in bubblegum scents to leave a lovely smell instead of a smell that would clear out the house. I seriously can't rave enough about the job they did!"

"Joel came out on a Saturday to begin the estimate. He said he could call us on Sunday with the price or put a bid in the mail. We asked him to call on Sunday. The price was fair and was competitive with our other bids (about $200 less). He said, if we were ready, he and his crew could start on Tuesday. We were ready and he and his crew started Tuesday morning. The entire job lasted 2.5 days. During that time they worked steadily and tirelessly with few (if any) breaks. The prep work was meticulous and the painting was precise. At the end of each day, Joel and his crew cleaned up, swept the floors and scrubbed the sink. I think they left my house cleaner than they found it! Since it was a multi day job, I really didn't expect the daily clean up! Joel challenged me to go over the work each day with a "fine tooth comb" - I really didn't find much, but they quickly corrected the minor things I found. He and his crew were polite, respectful and hard working. Excellent quality!!"

Epoxy Flooring questions, answered by experts

You’ll usually need to prime a garage floor before painting—especially if the floor is unpainted. Garage floors are made from concrete, which is porous and produces dust. The dust can contaminate the paint and cause issues with adherence.

Primer creates a barrier and gives you a clean surface to work on. It also minimizes absorption to help give you an even, pro-looking paint job. Make sure you choose a primer that’s specifically designed to cover concrete flooring.

Garage floor sealers last anywhere from one to 10 years on average, depending on the type of sealer you use and the traffic it’s exposed to. Acrylic sealers have the shortest longevity, whereas most other options can last anywhere from five to 10 years. If you use an acrylic sealant to protect against stains, reapply every one to two years. Reapply other types of concrete sealers every five years for the best results and maximum protection.

You can seal a concrete slab by cleaning the surface, filling in any cracks, etching the surface, applying a sealer, and letting it dry. Concrete slabs don't typically need sealing, but you can use a topical concrete sealer if you notice signs of water damage. If you haven't already fixed the cause of the leak, then you'll want to repair the plumbing before you seal a concrete slab.

The best time to seal your concrete driveway is sometime in the spring and fall when the temperature is above 55 degrees Fahrenheit. Keep an eye on the weather, and be sure to pick a day without rain on the forecast for at least 24 hours. Lastly, be sure you can leave the space free of foot and car traffic for the full drying time.

No, you cannot permanently seal concrete. The porous nature of concrete means that it’s always vulnerable to water intrusion and staining, even under the best sealants. Although some concrete sealing products can last for a long time, a genuinely permanent concrete seal remains elusive.
