Steve ordered all the cabinets and indicated that he would do my job beginning at the end of September or early October. On the Friday before he was to begin he called me and told me that the cabinets had been damaged when his storage facility leaked during a heavy storm. He had to reorder them which meant that the job could not begin for 6 to 8 more weeks. He began the job sometime near Thanksgiving. Because of travel plans for both Steve and me, we had to make adjustments to his work schedule. That and the fact that his work days were short because of his 2 hour drive each way slowed the job down. But that was not a problem for me. On January 8th Steve told me that was going to give the granite fabricator the measurements so that the countertop could be cut. He said that he would probably be back to install the countertop within the next two weeks. He then asked me for my final check. A little voice in my head said "do not give him the check until the entire job is completed" but I failed to take the advice of the little voice and wrote a check for my final payment. Four weeks later (not two weeks later) Steve called to say that he had the countertop and would be installing it the next day. When he arrived, he looked at the countertop and discovered that the fabricator had cut the opening for the sink too small so it needed to be re-cut. Another two-week delay. Finally the countertop was ready and Steve installed it. He put on the tile backsplash and then told me that it needed to dry before he could grout it. He said that he would return to finish the job "when he had time". Hummm? Since he had already received the total payment, I was no longer a priority. I was moved to the "hurry up and wait" pile. The last week in February I sent Steve a rather hateful email. I told him that I should never have given him the final payment before the job was complete and that I resented being relegated to the "when I have time" status. (I was really angry at myself for feeling pressured into paying early. I have trouble saying no to people but I'll never have that trouble again. I learned my lesson!!) Steve finally came to finish the job on March 5. Remember that I was aware that Steve did not paint? Evidently, not painting included not re-plastering the ceiling. He just left the plain drywall where he had removed the bulkhead. So, not only did I wait 6 months longer than I had anticipated, now I had to hire someone to re-plaster the ceiling. My painter did not know how to plaster so I had to hire another man to do that job. Steve's tile work was excellent. I have no complaints about that. But . . . all of the other factors together with the fact that he left his trash in my garage for me to dispose of, left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. So, be aware of all of this BEFORE you hire him and have every detail of the contract in writing so that you know specifically what Steve will or will not do. Countertop Repair reviews from real Angi homeowners in Marion, IN
I thought the service was first class from the moment the phone was answered to make an appointment until the repair was finished!!!! So glad I called Mr. Appliance. Much much better than any other appliance repair Iâ ve had!!! Five stars all the way!!!
Not only has Mike fixed 3 of the iphones that we have in our family, but he has also repaired the motherboard on my son's XBox. All phones and XBox are currently working as if brand new. Very fair on pricing. Highly recommended and a one of a kind work shop.

Brandon Turner did some roof repair work for us in 2017. We now have multiple ceiling leaks. We tried multiple times to contact him about our concerns and he would not respond. Think twice about hiring this company to do any work for you.

Family owned & operated for 35 years. 3 employees. Additional contact name - Judy and Michael Banter.
"It was excellent! Our family could not be anymore satisfied with Mike and Judy's professional guidance and attention to detail, for our total kitchen remodeling. We are a family of five and Mike worked daily, persistently, to get us back into our kitchen. Everything went smoothly, ordering cabinets and countertops, flooring and tile .We were impressed with Mike's cleanliness. He would sweep and organized his tools and have everything he used for the day put up and out of our way. Mike has an eye for detail. Our family could not be any happier with our new, beautiful, modern kitchen, thanks to Mike and Judy Banter! We would highly recommend them!!"

I am extremely engaging. I take each work as a task I expect from a professional handling my job. I put the customer first and adopt the old habit of "customer is king". My goal is making my customers happy and achieving this through a visible quality job done.

"This review is based on my experience with Miracle Method of Indianapolis. I have used this process before in another home and found it to be the best option as I do not like grout. This last project was exhausting and after numerous attempts to get it resolved I contact CDH. They were more than willing to help me and took a lot of time on the phone to help me. In the end I had to finish with Miracle Method as they already had 100% of the funds. I will also state that I incurred additional fees in plumber trip and new fixtures that were damaged as to a bad tape job. I wish I would have called CDL first. Please beware of Miracle Method."

Yes, you should hire a handyman who’s licensed, certified, and insured, if possible. States have different requirements for handyman licensing, registration, and certifications. If licensing is required in your area, you may pay more for a licensed handyman with experience than one who is not licensed or certified, but you’re likely to get a better end result for your project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local handymen guidelines.
