"I’m extremely satisfied with Regional. We had three sump pumps that needed to be replaced (primary, secondary, and water powered backup). The quote was very reasonable, and they were able to do the work shortly after their initial visit. They replaced everything with Liberty pumps. Justin and Erich did the work and they were very professional. We had them quote out a couple of other items (replacing water heater, etc) and those quotes were also very reasonable. I will definitely hire them for future jobs."

"We have lived in our house for 10 years. Right after we moved in there was water in the crawlspace and we hired Permaseal to do drain tile. We've had no water issues for 10 years. This year we finally decided to do something about the settling in the addition and again hired Permaseal to install piers around the foundation (interior and exterior). Hugo M. and his team did an outstanding job, working through some very cold days, installing everything as planned and at each moment stopping to show us the work and the progress. The work required going through the drain tile on the interior pier locations and the team reinstalled the drain tile system before pouring the final concrete. The work was really well done and everything was left clean and picked up, which is remarkable considering the scope of the work."

"I would give Signature Corporation 100 stars if I could. The work quality was amazing. They explained to me the things that weren't done right in the first place that caused the damage that I had and what they were doing so it wouldn't happen again. Everyone of the work crew was extremely polite and respectful. I have a very long driveway and walk with a cane, I went outside to bring my garbage can up from the road only to find that one of the crew already did it. The work was explained to me step by step and I always knew what was going to be done the next day. The work areas both inside and outside of the house were cleaned up daily. They found a few bad spots on my roof and after showing them to me they even tarped the roof for me until I can get it fixed. They didn't have to do that. I didn't ask them to. How awesome is that? When I had to take my dog out they made sure the gate was closed and didn't mind that I had to let her loose in yard (huge yard) to run and get exercise. Of course she loved all the extra attention. I had gotten another quote for the work. Signature beat that quote and didn't have to take my fence down. The other company would not be responsible for putting it back or responsible for any damages done to the yard. I just had the fence installed. Again, an awesome crew."

"Very attentive. They installed drain tile, sump pumps, and vapor barrier in my crawl space. Brought a couple of yards of stone thru my house and into the crawl. Very neat, no mess. They put down tarps thru my house and cleaned up every day. I would highly recommend them"

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

No. You should never pour old paint down a drain or sewer because it can clog pipes and pollute the environment. You must dispose of paint properly and safely. Different types of paint need to be disposed of in different ways—oil-based paints must be taken to a paint recycling center, while you can throw dried-out water- or latex-based paints in the garbage.

A small amount of diluted bleach is okay to pour down a garbage disposal. As part of your weekly garbage disposal maintenance, use 1 teaspoon of bleach with your concoction of ice cubes and lemon peels. Turn on the disposal and run the water until the blades chop up the ice cubes.

Any more bleach in your disposal can harden oils and greases in your drain, which can cause problems. Always wear gloves when working with bleach, and know that you really don’t need bleach at all—vinegar, baking soda, salt, and ice should do the trick.

If your drain line is clogged, your AC might stop cooling, shut down, or refuse to turn on at all. Otherwise, you might see your AC leaking water, find standing water or water damage near the unit, or notice a musty smell coming out of your air conditioner or vents.

Start by pouring hot—but not boiling—water down the drain. The heat of the water may be enough to break down the clog. You can also try ½ cup of dish soap or 1 cup each of white vinegar and baking soda. If you choose a chemical unclogging product, ensure it’s appropriate for toilets to avoid damage.

Keep your egress window from flooding by ensuring that the drainage system in the window well is clear and in good working condition. Inspect the window well every few months to remove any blockages and test the drainage system. It’s better to discover potential problems before your window well fills with water during heavy rain.
