"Obviously not accurate and very unfair / lacking truthful details of the circumstances. 1. Waterproofing was successful for the two walls contracted to be waterproofed / requested to be waterproofed. 2. Residence?s basement leak is infiltration from another wall we did not / were not requested or contracted to waterproof; so we guess the Owner thinks we should waterproof another wall (not paid for) for free? 3. Owner advised that backfilled soils during the winter would likely settle, and we would return to add top soil / regrade in the Spring (as we promised and as we did). 4. Gas leak was a defective meter (per NIPSCO); verified we did not break a gas line. 5. Contract specifically states in Terms & Conditions ?Others to repair or replace any damaged landscaping plants and/or landscaping materials? and the existing landscape rocks were salvaged / reinstalled. 6. Finally it is unfair to criticize our performance. We have repeatedly responded to requests and assisted in advising the Owner on how to minimize and / or eliminate the uncontracted wall?s minor seepages. The Owner still needs to perform simple home maintenance (cleaning and improving gutters / downspouts, and drainage improvements / grades that should be improved) that the Owner has failed to complete as advised. Again, it is a foundation wall that were not contracted and/or requested to be addressed that is the infiltration problem; not the basement walls we were contracted to waterproof."
"Work was 100% completed per contract (exterior yard drain line and brick tuck-pointing). Our Client signed and approved all completed work 100% at the final walk-through, the afternoon of completion. (Wife of Client at a later date complained about a spot / spots with rough mortar on the face of "wire cut brick veneering" that can hold some excess mortar in the wire cut brick faces sometimes.) The later date call resulted in our immediate return for the "cleaning of the rough mortar spot" the next day. Signature stands behind our workmanship 100% and upon notification that the client's wife had a complaint; the issue was solved in less than 24 hrs. This 2.5 rating is unfair. We strive for perfection and satisfaction. Everyone is not perfect everyday, as hard as we may try for 100% perfection: The true measure of a great contractor / provider is the responsiveness of a company to resolve any issues in a timely manner, as we have in this and all cases."
