"Kilo Plumbing is a real true professional that service all Ft. Wayne areas, so i highly recommend them. Offered 3 year warranty on labor, battery, & my backup battery-operated sump pump. Plumber Chance is unique because he welcomes & answers all questions you have about the project. I paid $1800 to install sump pump & reassemble pipes for better water flow, not for code compliance that I thought that he said would cost $3k or $4,000 that seems too much based on my research & other pluming co. He had to come back days later to fix a leaky pipe he worked on. So far, sump pump & pipe are in good condition."

At PG Plumbing we have a simple yet powerful reason for starting our plumbing company: to bring a breath of fresh air to the plumbing industry in Fort Wayne and Allen County.\n\nWith the rise of large corporate plumbing conglomerates, we noticed the disappearance of the small, locally-owned plumbing businesses that once thrived in our community. This inspired us to step in and make a difference.\n\nOur mission is clear: we are here to provide our customers with cost-effective, personal experiences rather than prioritizing profit margins. We understand the frustration that often comes with plumbing issues, and our goal is to alleviate that stress with a service you can trust.\n\nWe invite you to choose PG Plumbing a local, employee-owned, reliable, and trustworthy team, for all your plumbing needs. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we are committed to providing you with the best service possible. Thank you for considering us as your plumbing partner in Fort Wayne.

"I tried everything I could think of to keep out the 14" of water I would get in my basement, then I hired another company (shall remain nameless) just to have their system ripped up in 2 and a half short years because they would not honor their warranty. As a last ditch effort before bulldozing my home or filling my basement in with stone and making it a crawl space, I called EverDry of Michiana and to my surprise, the price was very reasonable compared to other companies. I live in an area with a very high water table and keeping water out is a major issue. The install was almost effortless on my part. I had some issues later and was very pleased that EverDry honored their promise to come back out and do what needed to be done (like adding more finger drains) to keep the water table below my floor. I would highly recommend them and gladly write my yearly check to keep my warrantee active. A+ in my gradebook. JLW Lake Village, IN"

"I had Ken and his crew come out in Dec. 2019 to install a new shower and replace two sink faucets in our primary bathroom. They did a great job. We did need a little warranty work done recently and they sent out a service technician who did what we asked courteously and professionally. I love a company that stands behind their work and Prime Baths in Coal City does just that. Will use them again as needed for sure."

"We had a challenging project with water removal and structural support issues. Our crew of Tim (Foreman), Marq, Jayshawn, and Devon worked diligently to install a new drainage system and support beam for the house, spending late nights to get the job done. Thanks to (Manager) Cornell for his assistance on this complex project. Matt E"

Affordable Plumbers questions, answered by experts

A passed final inspection serves as the primary indicator of successful plumbing in IN. Inside the home, look for consistent water pressure and clear water without any sediment or discoloration. For well systems, the pressure tank maintains steady pressure without rapid cycling. Additionally, all exterior penetrations and supply lines in unheated crawl spaces are fully sealed and insulated against freezing.

Helpful?

Schedule a final inspection immediately after finishing plumbing to ensure everything meets safety standards. Obtain and keep the completion certificate for your records. For well-fed homes in Lagrange, test your water for hardness and iron levels to determine if treatment adjustments are necessary. Before winter arrives, verify that all new pipes in unheated spaces feature proper insulation to prevent freezing.

Helpful?

Evaluate your property’s infrastructure before starting plumbing in Lagrange. Homes connected to municipal utilities offer straightforward upgrade paths. For rural properties, assess your well yield and septic capacity first. Check the age of your pipes, as pre-1960s homes feature galvanized steel lines that require replacement. Finally, inspect your foundation for shifting caused by clay-heavy IN soils, which damages underground lines.

Helpful?

Always plan around the harsh winter weather in northeastern IN. Avoid scheduling excavation between November and March, as deep frost makes underground plumbing extremely difficult. Account for local water quality, as high iron and hardness levels impact water heater efficiency and pipe longevity. Finally, hire local professionals familiar with non-standard rural setups, including gravity-fed systems and propane-powered water heating.

Helpful?

Several factors influence the timeline for plumbing in Lagrange. Local building codes require rough-in and final inspections, which naturally splits the work into multiple visits. Winter weather also plays a major role, as frozen IN ground delays exterior excavation. Additionally, homes relying on private wells or septic systems require extra coordination. Sourcing specialty parts for rural properties extends the project duration.
