Was not told ahead of time that I would need to pay 408 dollars for essentially hooking up a wet vac to the end of a pipe and turning it on for thirty seconds Expected to pay $200 Actual payment was $493 Line codes from the invoice S-Service Call $85.00 S-Blow Out Condensate Drain $408.00 DESCRIPTION OF WORK / RECOMMENDATIONS from vendor Condensate pvc drain clogged with sludge & slime. Cleared condensate drain with nitrogen & vacuum. Unit draining properly after repair. 0ppm co reading. No gas leaks found. Customer recently had a cc completed. All ok at departure. Recommendation is that if you need this service performed is to get a quote in writing from the vendor ahead of time or just get a shop vac and do it yourself. Will not recommend although would like to hear vendor response as to how this poor customer experience could work better. (UPDATE): The Vendor has reached out to try and mitigate the cost and is much appreciated."

"We have lived in our house for 10 years. Right after we moved in there was water in the crawlspace and we hired Permaseal to do drain tile. We've had no water issues for 10 years. This year we finally decided to do something about the settling in the addition and again hired Permaseal to install piers around the foundation (interior and exterior). Hugo M. and his team did an outstanding job, working through some very cold days, installing everything as planned and at each moment stopping to show us the work and the progress. The work required going through the drain tile on the interior pier locations and the team reinstalled the drain tile system before pouring the final concrete. The work was really well done and everything was left clean and picked up, which is remarkable considering the scope of the work."

"The Co. Sends you a pic of the person who will turn up, along with a profile (Family man, Harley rider, likes to fish), and his name & cell ohone number. I liked this a lot. He came earlier than originally scheduled, but they called to get permission first. He was very polite. He explained what happened (a pipe had burst over the winter to one of my two outside spigots because likely water was in the pipe and it froze, expanding the pipe and cracking it). He replaced that section of the pipe and put a turn off on it, so I will easily be able to drain the pipe in the fall. I showed him my other outside spigot , and I was pleased the fellow is honest and said I could add a turn off on this one, too, but it would cost another $450. or not do it, since there is no problem with it currently; besides, this one is just outside the living room wall and we would have to remove a bit of the inside wall to do it. I very much liked that he didn t try to push me into doing that, just to make another sale. That, alone, will get my next job done by this company. The work was fast & good. As far as the $, I didn t get other estimates so I don t know if the $450 I paid is within a normal range, and that s the only reason I gave price a half star less. Otherwise top notch company & work, and I will use them again if necessary."

"We highly recommend US Waterproofing. Unfortunately, after repeated issues (we’ve had water getting through a basement door, water backing up from drain/sewer pipe, foundation cracks – all which were addressed) we now have had issues with hydrostatic water pressure delivering a great deal of water to our finished basement. Only one solution – drain tiles and sump pump installation. US Waterproofing was outstanding, every step of the way. They communicated clearly what was needed, and much to our surprise, what was not. They did not ever try to sell us anything that was not needed – only what was – installation of drain tile, window well drains, sump pump, and all work related. All of the crews involved were outstanding – in particular, the crews installing the drain tile and sump pump. "I live in Griffith, Indiana, in an area with loamy soil and a high water table. Whenever it rained heavy we were sure to get seepage in our basement. There was one drain in the floor and when it rained a lot, water would seep in from all four walls, getting the whole floor wet. I had to put evrything up on blocks. So when we got a door-hanger offer for a free inspection from Everdry, we responded and called for an appointment. After the inspection the Everdry agent told us that our foundation walls had a 56% moisture saturation and the floor was at 88% saturation, that our damp basement was attracting insects, and that we had active mold growth. There was pressure fracturing in places on foundation walls, and that two of our foundation walls had footing coves that were blocked. In summary, there was no protection inside and no protection outside. Needless to say, we were extremely concerned about the condition of our seeping basement. "I went to Angi.com to search for a waterproofing business. I contacted one business and was waiting for them to get back to me when I received notification that another business in my area had been located. Steve called me shortly after I had received the notification and said he received my information from Angi.com and could be out the same day and would call to let me know when he was headed my way. True to his word, he called and arrived when he said he would. After surveying the problem it was determined I needed a new sump pump. Steve quoted me the price and said he would have someone out the next day. The next morning I received a call from Steve letting me know he could have Julian out to my house that morning in about 20 minutes if that would work. I said it was perfect and Julian arrived when Steve said he would. Julian was very professional and courteous (as was Steve) and within an hour my new sump pump was installed. Julian called Steve to confirm the price which was what Steve had quoted me and Steve said he would email me my receipt later that day. I received my receipt later that day as promised. I would definitely recommend Windy City Waterproofing. I am very satisified with their service."
