"A week before my house was to be placed on the market, my 6yo accidentally knocked over a can of white paint onto my hardwood floor. I immediately called the professionals, Footprints Flooring, to have them lead me in the right direction. "Brandon and his job partner came to my home and did an amazing job on a really hard case and they made the carpeting look brand new. They came when they said they would and got everything done very quickly, with quality, promptness and I cannot get over how fast they were, I thought the difficulty of the case would have taken them longer since it was a repair from damage. Berber is a loop pile carpet known for its strength, durability, and distinct looped look. It can be made from a number of different carpet materials, including nylon and wool. Not every type of flooring is well suited to a wood stove. However, ceramic or stone tiles are good choices since they are durable, heat-resistant, and easy to clean. Softer flooring options, like carpet, could be damaged by the heat produced by a wood stove—or even create a fire hazard.

Start the first row of vinyl planks along the longest or most visible wall in the room. This will create a clean, straight foundation row to build off of. Snap a chalk line to guide the first row, and use spacers for the most precise installation—these maintain an even extension gap between the flooring planks and the wall. Finally, double-check that the first row is level before moving on to the second row. If it’s not, start over and get it right before completing the rest of the floor.
