Dave and his team were great. Dave worked with me and my request for hardwood floors. It was time consuming but worth it. My floors look amazing!

Rawlings did an outstanding job at a fair price. I had the hardwood floors redone in a rental property. They were very helpful in advising the work that needed to be done and what was the most cost effective choice for investment property. They also advised how to care for the floors best. They were straight forward in pricing and, knowing I was getting other estimates, told me what to look for and what to ask others to determine if they knew what they were doing. When I mentioned one of their competitors, they told me they were very good. Ultimately I chose Rawlings and I’m very pleased.

I cannot give enough compliments about Dave and Gary. This is the 2nd house of mine Dave has refinished. The first house was a whole house refinish, including stairs (3,000 sq ft). He also had to replace and repair several areas of patched flooring (which we discovered after removing carpet) and matched it perfectly. After seeing the workmanship on my first house, my sister and friend had him refinish their entire homes and were very pleased. On my second house, they refinished a sunroom, stairs, and matched a stain to the original flooring (which was spot on. We seriously cannot see where the old finish meets the new!!) As far as price and quality, they simply cannot be beat. I can't say that Dave returns calls because I've NEVER had to leave a message--he answers the phone every time I call! Gary was our refinisher and has kept us informed and in the loop about what he was doing and the time frame EVERY SINGLE DAY. He is extremely conscientious and respectful of our home, pets, and children. He shows up on time (to the minute) AND locks the door on his way out. Seriously, I'm just blown away. It really doesn't get better than this. I am in the midst of bathroom remodeling as well and I only wish the contractors were 1/10th as good as Rawlings!

Very pleased with the outcome. The floors were in very rough condition but turned out better that I would expected. They did a great job.

I had called several other companies in the area to get quotes for refinishing, but everyone gave me the run around. Dave was very professional and always returned my calls promptly. He was able to fit me in to their schedule very quickly.
I recently purchased my home and tore up the carpet which covered the first floor living area (living room, dining room, 3 bedrooms). The hardwood underneath was in extremely bad shape. It had many spots from pet stains and high traffic. A lot of boards were warped or not salvagable. Dave and his team were able to make them look as good as new. His team even built a new threshold into the kitchen for no additional charge. There were many spots and boards that needed to be replaced, and Dave gave me a very reasonable price for the additional work and materials. (It is included in the total $2,450 above). The work was completed on time with no issues. I wish I could share the before and after pictures, you would not believe it is the same floor.

Due to the set up of my condo I was unable to be there during the refinish.  I left the subcontractor a set of my house keys to complete the job.  He did a great job on my living room and dining room area.  However, he left residue of polyurethane in the doorways and droppings in the adjoining rooms that had pre-finished wood.
I mentioned it when Dave came to inspect and collect the balance of the money (1000 was already made out directly to Tom).  Dave immediately denied the damages.  I had to go through the BBB to remediate the situation.  He continued to deny the damages and say it was already there.  In the end, a month later, I had another company come out to do a buff and coat.  He only charged me 350.  Apparently it was a simple fix.  I sent Dave the balance of 150.  Most stressful situation I ever had to go through with a contractor.
Moral of the story, please do not leave any contractor or subcontractor alone in your home.  Just in case keep before, during, and after pictures.  Mistakes happen, we are all human.  Irregardless, the way he responded to me alone in my house and refused to have his crew come back to fix their mess was completely unacceptable. 
Glad the situation is resolved and over, but I will never do business with him again and definitely would not refer him to anyone else.

I call the owner and setup the appointment quick. The price is reasonable and the whole process was very smooth.

My floors look beautiful. They are very honest and forthright in what I should realistically expect these floors to look like in the end. They communicated well and followed up on issues that needed to be resolved after the floors were completed.
