"Fox electric was very professional and helpful from the beginning. I hired them on the recommendation from someone and Iâ m glad I did. He explained everything that he was going to do thoroughly and got the job done and did a great job cleaning up after himself. I will be using fox electric for any future electrical needs."

"It was pretty rocky. At first. Several appoints made by Tri-State no one ever showed up.Crew showed up to install the Generator before the site survey and did not have necessary equipment or cooperation of Electric or gas company nor call before you dig had been notified. I called Tri-State to warn them the call before dig had never been preformed. They said they'd take care of it, did not happen until right before installation crew came back the second time. The first time they were here they could not have installed the generator even had they had all the parts because none of the utilities had been marked. Finally after about three months the Generac was installed and working. I had several questions that I could never get answered by calling Tri-State. One of the installation team had to come back a couple of weeks later to replace a damaged part and he answered all my questions. The guys who installed the Generac were great, the problem is your guys operation center and call center as far as I can see do not communicate very well. Anyway the generator has worked fine in several power outages this spring. I am happy right now but I live in dread something goes wrong and I have to call Tri-State for help."

Your Connersville home is well-suited for electrical upgrades if it has grounded outlets, an electrical panel with available capacity, and no recurring wiring issues. Homes built before the 1960s, especially those with outdated wiring, often benefit from modernization. If your walls are structurally sound, you can consider projects like home wiring updates, smart device installations, or adding EV charging stations.
Helpful?
In Connersville, watch for persistent flickering lights, outlets that feel hot or show discoloration, and circuit breakers that trip more than once. After storms, check for GFCI outlets that won’t reset or any burning odors near your electrical panel. These symptoms often point to underlying wiring or electrical panel upgrade needs, so prompt attention can help prevent more extensive repairs.
Helpful?
To keep your Connersville home’s electrical system reliable year-round, inspect outdoor outlets and panels each spring for winter damage. In summer, look for signs of storm or humidity-related wear. Prepare circuits for holiday lighting and check heating connections in the fall. During winter, focus on indoor systems and test smoke and carbon monoxide detectors monthly to address seasonal challenges.
Helpful?
In Connersville, you can safely replace light switches, outlets, or fixtures on existing circuits by turning off the breaker and confirming power is off with a voltage tester. Avoid working in damp or humid conditions, as moisture increases risk. If you notice persistent GFCI problems, unusual smells, or need to access your electrical panel, stop and contact a local professional for safety.
Helpful?
When planning electrical projects in Connersville, consider local permit requirements and ensure your plans meet state electrical codes. Coordinate with your utility provider for any service upgrades, and be mindful of Fayette County’s soil conditions, which can impact grounding. Also, check for overhead or underground utilities in older neighborhoods, and plan work during milder months to avoid weather-related delays.
