Iâ ve driven by his shop in Plainfield for years and knew he wasnâ t just a pop-up business. I cant wait to see the finished product!!! The bed was given to me by my cousin and we will give it to our grand daughter!! Iâ m so excited!!! I look forward to posting again to tell how beautiful it is when finished!!!! Checked in several times, updating me after they completed other jobs so I could have a good idea of how soon I could expect them. Were very professional and friendly when they arrived. They did not waste anytime! Came in, located the stain, neatly and respectfully brought in their equipment, and completely removed the stain. Pricing was cheaper than the companies that were NOT willing to come the same day. The job took longer than we had planned but that was due to a flaw in the initial roll of fabric - I was happy that Greg was honest with us about it and did the job right. The furniture looks like new and it was about half the cost of buying the same quality of furniture."

"My Telefunken did not work at all. Dr. Zee restored it to it's glory days, and it's been wonderful listening to it ever since. This was a challenging repair. It has a radio, shortwave and turntable, and nothing worked. The turntable now works like new and so does my radio. I would highly recommend Dr. Zee's. He kept me in the loop as the repairs were ongoing and worked with our schedule to drop off and pick up the Telefunken. He was also so knowledgeable and easy to work with. Great job!"

Removing the original paint or stain before refinishing is a good idea, as it ensures the new finish bonds strongly to the wood. If you skip the stripping or sanding step, the new finish may peel or flake away from the railing easily. Using a wood stripper will completely remove the old stain or paint while sanding will help to prime the surface.

In some cases, a simple clean, polish, and wax can make antique wood furniture look brand-new. However, always be sure to check the type and state of the current finish. Some furniture will require professional care, a new coat of finish, or even a new layer of stain to look like new.

You can make your dining room look more expensive using one or more of several methods. If you're remodeling, you can consider raising the ceiling height, installing an elegant chandelier, or redoing the floor. For smaller renovations, consider changing the paint color to a deep and rich tone, such as burgundy or emerald. You can also swap out the table and chairs to achieve a richer appearance. 

It is possible to refinish a table without stripping and sanding it by repairing small dents. You’ll use a gel stain, and then put on a wipe-on finish. The downside is this won't result in as smooth and as deep of a finish as if you had stripped the table. Also, any blemishes on your table will remain.

It's perfectly fine to just refinish the top of your table instead of all of it. In fact, that's what most people do. After all, why finish the bottom of the table that nobody ever sees? Of course, depending on how exposed the legs of your table are, you might at least consider refinishing them.
