I was having an antique chair repaired and refinished by another small business, and they referred the project to Burrough's Upholstery & Antiques to complete the upholstery portion of the project.  When I contacted Stephen, the owner, he was very courteous and we set an appointment to come to his shop to select a piece of leather for the project.  Unfortunately, he did not have on hand the exact color I was wanting, so he directed me to a leather shop downtown where I was able to make a purchase of exactly what I wanted.  I returned to the shop that same day, and within a couple of days the chair was finished.  I was extremely pleased with his work and would definitely recommend this business!

Wonderfully completed chairs. Perfectly matched patterns, perfectly centered. The best!

I have used Burroughs Upholstery three or four times now. They initially put new fabric on six antique dining chairs. They turned out absolutely great. Then we used them to re-upholster three different boat seats/benches which also turned out really good. I will use them again.

I had 4 kitchen chairs that needed new wood and upholstery done. Not
an easy job as the wood had to be curved in the seat area. Burroughs
did a great job and I would highly recommend the work that was done

Went very well did an awesome job with the work and it looked great. It was a very expensive job but he did end up charging me less than the estimate when the job went easier than expected so that was nice. Would for sure use again in the future...although hopefully I don't have the same problem again :)

He is super. He is expensive but right up front with it. He is just a superb craftsman. When you go to his place of work, you can eat off of the floors. He keeps it neat and clean. He is just awesome. His quality of work is out of this world. He was the one who suggested that so and so his refinishing and he is an out of town person. One fella does all of his woodwork refinishing and he does the upholstery but he doesn't to pretend to do both.

Steve got back to me via email just hours after my initially inquiry. I sent him photos of the couches and the quote he gave me over email was exactly what he charged me for the project. He let me purchase my own fabric and didn't charge anything additional. He picked the couches up ontime and delivered them ontime. His work is extremely high quality and he is extremely easy to communicate with.

After seeing the photos of the furniture that I needed reupholstering, he explained that the type of furniture that we had was not the type his company had experience with reupholstering. I appreciated his honesty, and if I had any other work, I would call him first.

Mr. Burroughs did a wonderful job in a timely fashion...the pillows are great.

I contacted Burroughs based on Angie's list and friends' recommendations. I had him look at a chair and the fabric I would be using. He gave me an estimate. I decided to have the work done and Steve completed the chairs ( 2 X 2 at my request) in 3 days. His work is excellent and I am very satisfied.

It was excellent. They are very personable. The job was done on time. Overall, I had a very good experience. He is even doing another job for me right now.

Steve did an amazing job. His attention to detail was amazing. The chair is more comfortable and beautiful than it had ever been. I am pleased with the quality of workmanship and his professionalism, and would use his services again.

Very well. Steven came to our home to pick up the reclining piece of the sofa. He repaired it quickly, and I picked it up at his shop about a week later.

Great. Always. He works out of his garage and makes our worst garage sale furniture look fantastic. His prices are reasonable as well. He is a pleasure to work with and is willing to pick up and drop off furniture.

The cushions on our sunporch furniture were faded, ripped, and in bad shape. I wanted to replace them since we moved into our house 2 1/2 years ago. We were hosting a party and I finally focused on those cushions. I called Steve to see how long it would take to recover the cushions. He gave me an estimate over the phone and mentioned that he would be glad to help me out and get it done in time for the party if I got the fabrics to him. Steve was courteous, professional, accessible and friendly. He recovered half of the cushions within a few days. The fabric for the remaining cushions was delayed. It arrived the day before our party. I dropped the fabric off and Steve got the cushions done in less than a day. The cushions look fantastic. The cost was exactly what I was quoted. Steve's attention to detail is amazing. And his willingness to help out in an instant is exceptional.

I can't say one bad thing about him. He is prompt and personable. He gives a discount if you order the material through him, but you don't have to. He goes out of his way to help. His work is impeccable. I plan to use him again for all future upholstery needs.

The material that we gave them was probably very difficult to work with. We think they did a great job and I'm very impressed with them. I think they went way beyond what they needed to do and did it without charging anything extra. They're good natured, too. They don't just do antiques.

He is so good and so nice. He is very accommodating to your needs. He offered to pick up the love seat and bring it back to the house. Very pleasant and does excellent work. Very good value for the money. I would highly recommend him.

Very reasonable cost. I thought he was creative in the way he fixed it. I was very happy with the work.
