On larger jobs i use up to 5 different sub contractors to provide a quicker down time for whatever project you are having us complete. On our billing procedures it depends on the length and amount of the project. We never ask for money up front but may ask for funding after some ot the materials have been delivered and installed. On our lawn care and snow removal clients we offer monthly or sub monthly billing so you do not have to pay for services each time that they are provided. Most account limits are set at $300 dollars between bills. Lawn Irrigation questions, answered by experts

Overseeding after aeration is not always necessary, but it can be highly beneficial, especially for lawns with thin or patchy areas. Aeration creates an optimal environment for new grass seed germination by improving soil contact and reducing competition from thatch. If you aim to thicken your lawn, address bare spots, or introduce a new grass variety, overseeding immediately after aeration can help rejuvenate and enhance your lawn's overall health and appearance. However, whether you overseed or not depends on your specific lawn goals and condition.

Your St. Augustine grass might look bad due to cold winter months, drought, pest invasion, or lawn disease. The first step is properly identifying the problem. Once you’ve figured out what’s making your grass look bad, you’ll need to employ the correct treatments. These treatments may include:

  • Properly mow your lawn and keep the clippings on the lawn as organic matter.

  • Use healthy irrigation techniques.

  • Use the right amount of fertilizer.

  • Keep up a good, regular maintenance routine.

  • Use fungicides.

Don't pick up or dispose of aeration plugs. They will break down by themselves in one or two weeks. Rainfall will speed this up, as will watering the lawn. Mowing helps, but don't mow the grass too soon post-aeration. It's unusual that the plugs would remain after three or four weeks, but mowing and raking will break them down by that point.

Aerating a lawn before seeding it or adding new grass seed is a smart decision. By loosening up compact soil and allowing it to take in more air and water, your seeds will have an easier time establishing roots and growing. Aerating beforehand also means your seeds will have better contact with the soil, so more of your seeds have a chance to germinate. If you do plan to aerate your lawn before seeding, aerate about two days before you plan to start seeding.

The first step in re-doing a bad lawn is correctly diagnosing the problem. That’s why we recommend calling a licensed and trustworthy lawn care company that can help turn your damaged lawn around. Once the problem is diagnosed and fixed, you’ll want to keep up with lawn maintenance by watering, mowing, and feeding your lawn the proper nutrients.
