Dowsh Lawn Care

They do a good job. They are reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them.

I first began using Dowsh for lawn mowing. They are fast, reliable, and reasonable. I have also recently used Dowsh for leaf removal and mulch installation, They have done an excellent job in every task.

Scott Tepper has been servicing this property and we have been so happy with him that two other relatives have employed him as well.

As always he did a very thorough job.  I am always pleased with his work.

Good job but since we are a residence we are kind of low on the priority list. Not a surprise but not as convenient as we had hoped.

Scott comes once every other week to cut the lawn. He does an excellent job and always performs great work. The only issue with Scott is that he has so many clients that he cannot schedule you; however, he will always come during the week he tells you he will.

Scott and his team do a wonderful job!  They come on a regular basis and work in a timely manner.  If there is something extra that needs attention, I will call Scott and he calls back within an hour.  Scott and his team are professional and responsive to our requests.  He communicates well and has given us suggestions about our lawn in the past.  The front and back lawn area is not very large so the price is very reasonable.  Dowsh Lawn Care has been mowing and trimming our lawn since July 2011.  We are very satisfied with his work ethic, quality of work, his down to earth personality and his attention to details with our lawn.  Scott, thank you.

I contacted Dowsh Lawn Care to have my back yard cleaned up. I had a lot of leaves and pine needles that I just didn't have a chance to remove during the fall. I also needed someone to put grass seed down because, again, I didn't have a chance to do this in the fall. In any case, I called Dowsh on a Sunday and my phone call was returned a couple of hours later. Scott asked me a lot of questions concerning the yard work. In particular, I'm glad that he asked if I have a dump site because other companies assumed I did not and so they wanted to charge me for removal. Scott asked because he is thorough and wants to perform the work that the customer wants. So we scheduled a date for the clean up and Scott was here on time. He worked really h****** our yard. It looked great after he was finished. I would definitely hire him again for similar work.

The only thing Dowsh Lawn Care did for me was rake leaves. I couldn't believe the price. I even have a huge basketball court in my back yard, so I don't have a huge back yard. He didn't blow my patio or my back porch. He said it was damp, so he couldn't get it off. He shouldn't charge top dollar when he didn't do a top dollar job. I called him and we had discussed some things, then he came back weeks later to do the job. He just showed  up. He didn't even call me prior to coming. He then did the work. I thought that price included blowing off the patio and making things look clean. I'm not someone who normally complains. I've had other people do my yard before and I never thought he was going to charge me $500.00. It was just ridiculous. He said he paid by the hour, but most people do that by the job. I just took for granted that he would do the job appropriately and do the work. If the weather conditions weren't good enough for him to do an A-plus job on it, he should have waited for another day.

However, Professionalism in preparation was sorely lacking.  He has no ability to plan his jobs (Understandable, size duration length).  But his non-communication is the most disturbing.  If you have all day to sit around and wait to see if he will show up (his last message actually said Monday or Tuesday) you will be satisfied.   I am just bothered by the lack of communication.

This is the second year I've used their leaf removal service, and once again they did an excellent job.  They will even go up on my porch, and in my landscaped areas to remove all the leaves.  Will use them again next year!

Scott was very responsive, arrived on the date he promised and worked diligently. Scott is a very honest and dependable person, even to the point that he was willing to stick to his estimate eventhough he had to put in extra time to finish the job. We had no problem paying Scott for his extra time as he did an excellent job and stayed with it to the end.

Thorough, professional job. Will definitly use on a regular basis from now on.

No offense to Scott but his was the third leaf removal company with an "A" rating on Angie's List that I called.  The first two simply did not return my call.  Probably because it is off season, but still frustrating.  Scott answered when I called and was at the house the next day to do the work.  He finished a job in just a few hours that, when I have done it in the past, has taken me days.  

Because I know my yard pretty well, I know of a few areas that are either very hard to clean up or easy to miss (like behind the air conditioning units).  After walking through the backyard, it looks like Scott found all those areas.   He did a great job, I got more than I expected, and paid less than I expected.  What else can you ask for?

Scott did an excellent job in a timely manner.  He was very courteous, a pleasure to do business with!

We have been using Dowsh lawn care to mow and trim our lawn for a couple of months now. When we first contacted Scott in early May, he gave us a competitive estimate to mow and trim our lawn between our homes closing date in May and our move in date in late June. We thought we might take care of our lawn needs after moving in, but Scott has been doing a great job and makes it well worth the $30! So we have decided to stay with his lawn care service.

He arrived on time and did a great job.

We were very plased with the result. No gum balls to be seen (even though we know more will fall), and the leaves and dead limbs were all picked up and hauled away. No bags to deal with.
