"Prowalls installed drywall in my home and also did major repairs on the walls in my historic home. They did an excellent job! Joe was a complete professional, the price was great, they were always on time, and they completed the job to the highest standard. They cleaned up and asked if there was anything that I wasn't happy with. There wasn't! I would hire them for another job in a second, they were so easy and accommodating to work with!"

Small jobs welcome

"I found him on Angie’s list and he was the first one to reply. I explained what I needed done and I was given a good price. Two guys came on time a little early to beat the thunderstorms that were coming our way. Some of the windows couldn’t be cleaned because they were thermal insulated and you couldn’t get in between the glass. They also cleaned up our gutters and cut the hedges in front of the windows. It took longer than expected but they did a good job. They had missed a few windows but once pointed out they cleaned them."

Small jobs welcome

Hi! My name is Daniel and I have been working and getting my hands dirty since a teenager. I use to work in remodeling residential houses, but now I'm a supervisor in the Ink industry. I've always been good with figuring out how to fix things from household appliances, to holes in walls, or having to regrout bathroom tiles due to mold. I've put in hard wood flooring, vinyl flooring, drywall, trim and crown molding, as well as paint. I'm willing to go about 25-30 miles from my home to work for some extra income. And if you do follow through with hiring me, I can assure you, whatever you need done will get done in a timely and efficient manner with care and attention to detail. So please reach out with any questions and I'm more than willing to be at your service.

Drywall questions, answered by experts

In many cases, installing new drywall will boost your home value. Replacing old, damaged, cracked, or wavy drywall is a great way to improve the look and feel of your home, as new drywall installed by a professional shouldn’t have any imperfections. Additionally, removing old drywall means you’ll have open walls, so you can install new insulation and address exposed issues with plumbing and electrical systems running behind the walls. All of these fixes will also add to your home’s value.

Common causes include water leaks, settling, and impact. Address underlying issues to prevent recurring damage.

Drywall repair is typically completed within a day, depending on damage extent.

When choosing materials for finishing basement walls, consider factors such as moisture resistance, durability, and fire resistance. Opt for materials specifically designed for basement environments, like moisture-resistant drywall or cement board. Insulation with vapor barriers can help regulate temperature and prevent condensation. Consider using mold-resistant paints or coatings.

Research and consult with experts to select materials that are suitable for your specific basement conditions and intended use. Prioritize quality and compatibility to achieve long-lasting and aesthetically pleasing results.

When you are learning how to tape and mud drywall, waiting for things to dry requires a lot of patience. So how long does drywall mud take to dry? On average, it takes about 24 hours. However, it depends on things like the thickness of the mud, as well as the room’s temperature, humidity, and ventilation. Using thin layers of mud in a warm, low-humidity room with good airflow reduces average drying time. You also could speed up drying time by making use of hot drywall mud, which consists of a powder that you mix with water, instead of using pre-mixed mud.
