He found what may be a possible refrigerant leak where ice was built up. He said that it was low on refrigerant so he and I set up a time to return the next day to install more refrigerant. "It's August, so this is a bad time for the air conditioner to suddenly stop working! We had heard good things about Trumpy Heating & Cooling before, so I thought I would give them a call. Withing an hour, he was at our home doing a thorough inspection of the outside unit, inside unit, vents, thermostat & more. He informed us of exactly what needed to be done and why - explaining it in a way that made sense mechanically and financially. He answered all our questions for both the needed repair and possibilities to improve our system in future. Fantastic service! Highly recommended!"

"Central air went out on a Sunday. Called and they responded within an hour - impressive. We were given an estimate to replace the outside unit which we thought was pretty high. We were told they could install the unit the next day for $2400 if the unit came from them. We chose to purchase the unit ourselves and have them install it. We had the unit we purchased at our house on Tuesday morning. Each time we called (we received a quick response) to see where we were on the list for installation, we received a later and later date. We were a bit disappointed by that. They arrived Friday afternoon after 3:00 and it only took them 2.5 hours to install which was impressive. We saved $1000 by buying the unit ourselves so the wait was worth it.
We do realize it was one of the hottest weeks we could have had for this to happen and understand how busy all Heating and Air companies were. We would gladly have them return for any service necessary."

"WOW --Daniel was truly AMAZING! Our AC went out right before a heatwave. I called a couple of HVAC companies and even got 2 estimates for a few thousands of dollars. We were told that we needed to replace the AC condenser along with other things in order for AC to work again. Found TBD Heating and Cooling via Angi and they sent a technician within hours. Daniel was incredibly professional, explained the issue clearly and had our AC working within minutes!! He was very good at explaining the issue that was actually minor --bad wiring that caused overloading of freon. Daniel confidently reassured that a replacement of the unit ($3 - 4,600!) was not needed! He was literally done in minutes, guys and...did not even charge us for his work!
