We are a local company serving local customers. Big enough to serve you but small enough to have the owner inspect all jobs upon completing them. Assuring the very best work at a good price.

Established in 1955, Green View Companies offers complete landscape services including design-build, installation and maintenance. Green View also has three retail centers statewide, in the Dunlap and Peoria, Bloomington and Normal and Springfield areas. "Wow….love their products, love their gifts. Sadly was fired from lawn care and bed maintenance for supposedly not returning my paperwork in 2022. As a person unable to physically perform this work it was disappointing to call and be told this rather than any call or follow up from Greenview"

Regularly clean pumps, remove debris, and monitor water levels to prevent algae growth and clogging.

Lifespans vary by material and manufacturer, but pond liners last anywhere from 10 to 75 years. For example, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pond liners have a life expectancy of up to 20 years. Other types of pond liners, including those made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM), can last 40 to 50 years.

If you’re wondering how to build a pond above ground, it’s similar to building a pond below ground. Instead of digging, choose a plastic tub and install the same type of pond kit. Many homeowners find above-ground ponds a bit easier to install and maintain. Before getting started, learn how to design the landscape of your dreams,

Most water features do not use a lot of electricity, averaging between 100 and 250 watts per day. The size of the motor can impact electricity usage. To reduce electricity usage, consider using a timer to turn the fountain off at night and when you’re away from your home. Solar power is another way to defray electricity costs after you recoup the cost of installing the solar components.

Installing an outdoor water fountain costs $2,700 on average, not including the cost of the unit. Prices range from $150 to $10,650, depending on your location, the type of fountain, size, and accessibility to the site. Self-contained fountains and water features recirculate the water within the unit. Depending on size and features like multi-tiered cascading bowls, they typically cost from $50 to $5,000. More elaborate fountains with waterfalls and ponds can cost from $450 to $10,000 or more.
