We are a local company serving local customers. Big enough to serve you but small enough to have the owner inspect all jobs upon completing them. Assuring the very best work at a good price.

Established in 1955, Green View Companies offers complete landscape services including design-build, installation and maintenance. Green View also has three retail centers statewide, in the Dunlap and Peoria, Bloomington and Normal and Springfield areas. In addition, Green View has a production facility that produces container-grown plants and trees.

"Wow….love their products, love their gifts. Sadly was fired from lawn care and bed maintenance for supposedly not returning my paperwork in 2022. As a person unable to physically perform this work it was disappointing to call and be told this rather than any call or follow up from Greenview"

Fountains questions, answered by experts

DIY kits exist, but professional installation ensures proper filtration, landscaping, and leak-proof construction.

A good rule of thumb is to change 5% to 15% of your koi pon’s water every week. Partial water changes help keep your koi healthy, and replacing small amounts at a time prevents causing stress for the fish.

Smaller, pondless water features like bird baths, self-contained fountains, and bubbling rocks are much lower maintenance than their counterparts that include ponds. Pondless features help you avoid high pond maintenance costs and allow you to spend more time enjoying the water feature and less time on upkeep.

In addition to length and width, pond liners also come in various thickness levels. Thickness is measured in mils, a unit of measurement equal to one-thousandth of an inch, with most pond liners ranging from 15 to 60 mils in thickness. The smaller the number, the thinner (and weaker) the liner. To prevent rips and tears, it’s best to choose a pond liner that’s at least 30 mils thick.

Yes, waterfall edges are still in style and even considered a kitchen classic. At one time, they were considered trendy, but now homeowners appreciate them for their timeless appeal, which adds value to your home.
