"I never contacted the provider or used this service in anyway. I have to
write this review so that the request to write this review stops
popping up.
The rating is bogus as it is required to be able to submit.

"Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

"Very good. This was our first time having this done so we didn't know what questions to ask to get a complete estimate. Because of this they added extra services to ensure we would be happy with their work. Very polite and clean. Would definitely hire them again."

"I accidentally drove my car into the back wall of my garage! This messed up the gas, water, heating and electric components, as well as the brick exterior wall was bowed out! I had many contractors come out to bid the job. Fernando actually delivered his bid in person, so if we had any questions, he was right there. His bid was very realistic and reasonable. What made me choose him was his ability to give suggestions on different options. In our garage was washer/dryer, sink, shower, and toilet. This accident compromised the entire wall. Fernando had an idea of putting walls up and separating the washer/dryer from the bathroom. We liked this idea and the insurance was agreeable....so the construction was started. I walk with canes and all of them were very careful and made sure that I had a clear path to walk through the garage! They even carried my groceries in!! We were extremely happy with his work! Fernando has a great team of skilled workers that were very prompt, courteous, and helpful, which shows how Fernando runs his business!! I will contact him again with other projects in the future!!"

Unfinished Carpentry questions, answered by experts

When choosing a drywall anchor, consider the weight of the object you're hanging and how much weight the anchor will need to support. The heavier the weight, the stronger the anchor you'll need. You’ll find the weight capacity on the packaging when shopping for anchors.

Also, remember that you can use more than one anchor when hanging something on the wall. If you're using multiple anchors, divide the object weight by the number of anchors to determine how much each will need to support. If you need help deciding which drywall anchor to use, you can hire a handyperson to hang your objects.

There are a few easy ways to locate a wall stud without a stud finder. First, try knocking on the wall with your knuckles. Most parts of the wall will sound hollow, but when you tap over a stud, it will sound more solid. Alternatively, since studs are spaced 16 or 24 inches apart, you can measure those distances from a corner of the room, which will always have a stud.

Professionals ensure precise alignment and durability, critical for structural integrity.

Using a steel frame may raise the value of your home. Steel is more heat resistant, has better longevity, and doesn’t need any upkeep compared to traditional wood. You can also customize a steel build a little easier than other materials like brick, concrete, and vinyl—which have trouble bending and adapting to renovations.

Framing most homes takes anywhere between five and eight weeks to complete. You’ll need to account for inclement weather conditions, material shipment times, the number of crew members, and the weight of your materials. If the weather is too hot, wet, or cold for the installation, this process could take closer to eight weeks.
