"My old chimney needed some repair, a new cap, and a good cleaning due to normal wear and tear after many years. Some of the bricks were falling apart and the chimney cap was rusted and deteriorating. My neighbor referred me to the Godfrey Bros. because he had used them previously and said they did a great job at a great price. I gave the owners (Cody and Colton) a call and set up an appointment with them. They came out and did an inspection and took some measurements on their first visit. They arrived when said they would and worked diligently. After they took the measurements, they had to order the chimney cap. The cap arrived a couple days later, and they came out and did their work. My chimney looks so much better now, and I can't wait to use my fireplace this winter. After all was said and done, I was very impressed with the quality of work and professionalism of the Godfrey Bros. They were very respectful of my property and my time and did a great job. I have a 100 year old Tudor home with a clay tile roof. Lane took his time to thoroughly understand how to best do the job. He correctly made the decision to rent a 87 foot lift. This allowed him to access all four sides of my chimney and fireplace without touching my roof. Wow! Before he started the work he made sure the grout color would match the existing mortar on my home. Which was extremely important to my wife and I. He carefully ground out the old mortar on all four sides of my chimney and fireplace. He was very smart to vacuum the dust from the grinding so it didn?t make a mess everywhere. His tuck pointing work was very meticulous. He was also very careful not to drop any new mortar on my clay tile roof. His cleanup after he was done was impeccable. Incredible job Lane!"
