"The quality of the work was poor, the sod was laid and not rolled out which is preventing the sod from catching and causing the lawn to look uneven, the grass seed/ dirt was spread sporadically over the front lawn without focusing on the bare spots which was the ultimate goal of the seeding. (for treatment/solution to holes in the lawn to promote grass growth in those areas.) Also there was very little grass seeds or dirt spread to back lawn. I brought this to Kevin's attention and he said he would take care of it and that he ran out of dirt, also his response to my calls or e-mails was not timely or not at all. I called and text him on several occasions requesting that he comes to complete the job and he never showed up to complete the job as promised. I also feel the additional cost he charged ($1500) to lay 4 to 5 rolls of sod for 20 ft. x 24 ft. area (480 sq. ft.) , was over priced and he took advantage of me and I am a victim of price gouging. His initial quote he gave me was 3400 (for the seeding, retainer wall removal, aeration, power raking, cutting the grass, plant 1 bush) but I just noticed he has put 3500 on the contract so even in that instance I paid him $100 more than what was agreed upon. The contract that he wanted me to sign was very extensive and "construction focused" and did not address everything we had discussed for this project. It basically was an agreement to ensure payment and cover himself if I did not pay. When I noticed the contract did not list line by line description of the scope of the work I brought that to his attention and asked him to include what the job would intel ( work order) listing what we had talked about. He told me he would bring it when he came to do the job. I didn't receive anything, but he had already came to to start the job. By the time he finally came to start the job I had received a warning from the village due to my grass had grown more then 5 inches waiting for him to come and take care of cutting the grass when he was to start the project. The overall communication and follow up with this company is not good and they do not provide detailed scope of work orders even when requested."

"It didn't. I had a need to build a retaining wall in my front garden. Gallardo's was one of the vendors recommended by Angi. I got an immediate response which was good, requesting more details and, if possible photos of the requested work. I responded, providing details and photos ask requested. I never heard back. I sent a follow up again requesting a quote. I got nothing. Ghosting potential customers is not a good business practice. I do have some future projects in mind but Gallardo's won't even be considered. No way to run a business. You can bet I will chat with friends and family and advise them not to consider Gallardo's even if recommended by Angi."

"I regret ignoring the negative reviews and being influenced by the Angi.com certification for this supplier. I definitely do NOT recommend hiring this supplier for Lawn Care services. This supplier failed to keep multiple commitments, and was a No-Show on multiple occasions. This small supplier lacks professionalism, is not committed to good customer service, does not keep commitments, and is completely unreliable."

"My Aunt passed away and her apartment needed to be cleared out. It wasn’t the cleanest since she hadn’t lived there in awhile. Rodents and bugs didn’t stop Jason’s Company, didn’t hesitate to take on the job! The apartment had 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, back porch an extension room and all rooms were furnished! Between Jason and two of his employees the completed the job within 3 hours, two trips to the landfill! He gave my family the closure we needed when other Company wouldn’t take the job on. And Jason, can’t say enough nice things about him! I will highly recommend him to my family and friends! Can’t thank you enough Jason!"

"Needing a quick repair after some lighting installation - Mike was quick to respond to my request. He explained the entire process thoroughly from start to finish; he communicated clearly to set expectations prior to repair. He arrived promptly to start the work and kept the work area clean. Drywall is an art and Mike surely possesses the finesse for a perfect repair. His patch installation was flawless; I hardly had to do any sanding / touch up once dried and prior to painting. He even added a few pointers to ensure a perfect final result. He was very courteous, informative, and quite the perfectionist - he definitely exceeded my expectations and did an excellent job . It was an absolute pleasure working with Mike and I could not be happier with the service provided and the end result.
