"Paul gave us an estimate shortly after we requested one.  We had recently had asbestos vinyl tile and mastic removed from our basement, and in the process had to remove a built-in bench which left the lower
part of an otherwise paneled wall exposed.  Another wall had paneling that was mismatched from top to bottom.
Also we have a staircase with vinyl asbestos tile that we wanted to cover.   We wanted to install ceramic tile on the basement floor, but were unsure what to do to fix the walls and stairs.
Paul told us "everything is possible" when we asked him what we could do to repair the wall and cover the stairs.  Paul suggested that he would install oak treads and risers on our staircase up to the kitchen.   This was a unique and welcome
suggestion as we had heard many others but did not feel satisfied with any of them.  He told us he could fix the walls and do the tiling as well.   His estimate was timely and detailed.  We liked the price so we went with his team. 
They were punctual, professional, and made our basement walls and staircase beautiful!  He repaired both walls so that they both look better than they ever had.  The wall where the bench was removed ran short of panels, so Paul and his team took a small,under-the-staircase door made of the same material to finish the wall.  They replaced the door so that it works better than the old one and looks good.  The tile has brightened up the whole room and the baseboards and moulding have finished the look so we feel we have a new living space.  The staircase is beautiful!  We love our basement now!  Paul and his team went above our expectations, and we would hire them again for sure.

"John and 41 North is great to work with and very client-service oriented. His prices are fair, the estimates are detailed, his team's work is of high quality and he is very communicative. He did some remodeling work for us on our siding, deck and windows and we were very happy with the results. He also upgraded our electrical. We then re-engaged the next year to do our hardscape patio and back landscaping. When rain delayed our progress, he rushed the job to get it done in time for a party we were having. We intend to continue working with 41 North as we continue to upgrade our older Chicago home. I highly recommend this company."

"I hit the jackpot finding Fil & Thor Build. I live between Chicago and another state and wanted to complete my project while I was away, to avoid having to live through the construction. I had quotes from a couple of other contractors, all provided half baked quotes and were slow to respond to my emails. I contacted Thor Build online and got a return call from Fil soon after my initial inquiry. We made an appointment and Fil showed up as scheduled and was quick to send me an estimate as promised. Throughout the entire project Fil kept me updated on the progress. His communication is by far the best that I've experienced with any contractor. "Beyond four walls was originally hired to re-do my floors, which turned into gutting our house, reimagining the floor plan, remodeling two bathrooms, the kitchen and additional upgrades. The upgrades consisted of paint, insulation, a tankless hot water heater, pex water pipping, electrical outlets, lighting and the fuse box. We did so much I’m sure I’m missing things. Courtney and his family did all the work and we would hire them to do it again!"

"Beyond the 4 Walls Construction tore down my old shed and built a new one in its place. Courtney, the owner, did a great job in a timely manner. He gave me more storage space by building the shed taller and installing more shelves. After building the new shed, they did a fantastic job in remodeling my garage. The garage was completely insulated, drywalled, a new ceiling remodeled, windows reframed and the garage was completely painted. At the end of each the day, everything was cleaned up and when the projects were completed, all debris was removed. Courtney is courteous, professional and dependable.
