"Sentri Homes provided the most professional flooring service I’ve ever had. The LVP installation turned out absolutely beautiful, and I was amazed at how quickly everything was completed without sacrificing quality. The crew was fast, accurate, and extremely detail-oriented from start to finish. Everything was installed cleanly, precisely, and with real craftsmanship. The entire process was smooth, efficient, and far beyond what I expected. I would absolutely recommend Sentri Homes to anyone needing flooring installed."

"things went good an was really suprised that any kind of mess was kept to absolute minimum an they cleaned up very well each day before they left my project was a time consuming project but they did there best to get it done in the least amount of time,an when they were finished 1 of the guys even cleaned the floor like he lived here. Bathroom ceramitile we had put on the floor an the custom shower turned out really good,i had an idea on how i wanted it an the installer went over with me how a small change could be less costly then what i was thinking of doing, over all i was very pleased with the work even through the minor hicups we had along the way!!!!"

Flooring Installation questions, answered by experts

It takes about one to two days to remove carpet and install laminate flooring for small and medium-sized rooms. A larger room may take an extra day to complete. If you’re replacing flooring throughout your house, expect closer to one to two weeks, depending on your home’s square footage.

You can use underfloor heating with most kinds of flooring. However, particularly thick carpet will create problems, since it will absorb a lot of the heat and make it difficult to feel. Also, there are some concerns that underfloor heating can dry out natural wood over time, so if you have wood flooring, get an expert opinion on whether radiant heating is appropriate.

Laminate flooring should be stacked horizontally and laid flat to avoid any warping or stress to the boards. To stack it, you should do so in a grid with each row of flooring packages positioned at a 90-degree angle to the layer beneath it. This will provide the best support so the flooring will not sag in the middle.

You can tell if you have linoleum or vinyl floors if you look under the floor's surface. Linoleum floors have color that goes all the way through the tile, while vinyl flooring uses a printed image on the surface of the tile, plank, or sheet. This image often realistically replicates the look and feel of wood, ceramic tile, stone, or other natural materials.

Door transitions can work with virtually any flooring type; however, different transition strips lend themselves better to specific flooring types. For instance, if you are bridging the gap between a taller floor, like carpet, to a shorter floor, like hardwood, then you will want a transition strip with a slight slope to bridge the height difference. These transition strips are called reducer molding. On the other hand, if you are bridging two floors of the same height, you can use flat transition strips, such as T-strips and seam binders.
