"Don and Carol worked around our schedule and when Covid in our house delayed the completion, they were ready when we got healthier to finish the job. I am very pleased with my new shower, goodbye nasty old tub."

"A few years ago I hired Frank Mannella to remodel my upstairs bathroom and to do a minor installation in my kitchen . He did such a wonderful job that I knew Frank was the perfect man to remodel my downstairs bathroom. Two weeks ago Frank and his crew completed the remodel of my bathroom in exactly 7 days. He and his crew always arrived on time and when they said they would. My once hideous downstairs bathroom looks like a spa bathroom now. Every one who sees it loves it. My husband and I are so very pleased with Frank's work and we plan to always seek him first for future home improvement needs. I highly recommend Frank Mannella and his crew."

Remodel Design questions, answered by experts

A floor plan is a less detailed illustration showing a building or room's layout from above, including elements like windows, doors, walls, and fixtures. It offers a simplified view for homeowners. In contrast, a blueprint is a more detailed, to-scale architectural drawing that includes all parts of the building plans, such as structural elements, construction details, and utility schematics. While a floor plan can be a type of view within a blueprint, the complete blueprint contains all the necessary details to turn the plan into a reality.

Dark academia is more of an interior decorating style than it is a type of architecture, but it calls on themes prevalent in gothic architecture. Part of the appeal of dark academia is that you can achieve the look and feel without renovating or remodeling your home. Instead, you can switch to a dark color palette and introduce metal, natural wood furniture, plaid decor, old books, and gothic decor to get the look and feel just right.

Buying a house is easier than building one from scratch. Buying an existing home is almost always faster, even if you need to make renovations once you move in. When you hire the right team to build a home, they will simplify the design and build phases so that there is little guesswork throughout the process, but building new construction will almost always take longer than buying an existing home.

While you will always work with a team of professionals at some point during your home build, homeowners with experience can take on some part of the process. Manage the initial brainstorm, brief writeup, and floor layout phase with minimal assistance before contacting a general contractor. And while you can purchase stock blueprints for some home designs, it's always best to speak with professionals when choosing one ideal for your property.

Yes, many providers offer design consultations to help optimize and maximize space, functionality, and usage. It is recommended to confirm the availability of this service with your specific installer or contractor.
