"What a wonderful experience from Rosario Jr., to Oscar, to Bonnie, to the craftsman who installed the fence. Couldn't be happier with the project. True professionals who gave us constant updates. The sculpting done on the fence by the installer was true craftsmanship which is rarely seen these days.Several neighbors have come by to comment on the overall beauty and craftsmanship of our new fence. Not only beautiful but a great value. I would recommend Acosta to anyone looking for a great fence at a great value. Great Job Acosta!!!!"

"Nate was awesome to work with. We changed many of things with a large deck project that included a custom pergola with lighting and he was very helpful in letting us make design choices while providing insight into what would work and what would look great as well. His team was professional and highly skilled, especially his foreman, Buckleman! This is the second time our family has used the Deck Company and would recommend them to anyone!"

"Marcin OF Martin Hardwood Flooring did a fantastic job! The floor looks 100% better then when they were first installed. There were spaces between boards, chips where the finish was gone and lots of dents. the wood came with a very high polish which showed the imperfections and Marcin made the wood look fabulous. He finished the work in two days and we decided to let the finish cure an extra night so on the third day his crew came to lift the stove, rerigerator and table back into the kitchen. His price was the best out of four and if you want someone that does a really great job, he is the person to hire. Doorways, cabinets, and counters were all covered with plastic! I could not have asked for more of anything! Padding rugs were even put down for the temporary placement of my stove and refrigerator in my living room."

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

Yes, many gazebos are permanent structures built onto the land. However, if you have a portable gazebo that isn’t secured to the ground, you’ll want to check the manufacturer’s instructions to understand when to put it away. Generally speaking, when it’s particularly windy or wet outside, you should take down your temporary gazebo.

For many people, a gazebo is worth it, but it’s a matter of personal preference. If you love spending time outside but your yard doesn’t offer much protection from the sun or rain, then adding a gazebo might be worthwhile. Or, if you enjoy hosting dinner parties and want a nice outdoor space to gather with your friends, a gazebo could be a good investment.

Several types of porches are available to meet your needs and style preferences. Some common porch types include:

  • Porticos are essentially a roof over a walkway leading to the home's front entrance.

  • Sunrooms are closed-in porches that are an extension of the house with glass or plastic panels that allow optimal sunlight.

  • Wraparound porches extend around the entire home, or at least the front and one side, and offer multiple entrances to the house.

  • Back porches are an extension of the home’s floor into the outdoors. These offer more protection and privacy than a deck.

Fascia and soffits differ in their location and design, but fascia vents are the most popular alternative to soffits. These are a bit more hidden than soffits, but depending on the structure of your roof, they can cost more to install and maintain. They are also installed around the entire roof, whereas soffits can be placed only where you need them or, if the aesthetics bother you, somewhere out of sight.

Clean regularly, seal wood surfaces, and inspect for damage or rust to ensure longevity and safety.
