"What a wonderful experience from Rosario Jr., to Oscar, to Bonnie, to the craftsman who installed the fence. Couldn't be happier with the project. True professionals who gave us constant updates. The sculpting done on the fence by the installer was true craftsmanship which is rarely seen these days.Several neighbors have come by to comment on the overall beauty and craftsmanship of our new fence. Not only beautiful but a great value. I would recommend Acosta to anyone looking for a great fence at a great value. Great Job Acosta!!!!"

"Exceptional! A Patio Dream Come True: A Review of Arrowhead Brick Pavers As a long-time homeowner in Burr Ridge, IL, I've always dreamed of having a beautiful, functional patio to extend our living space and enjoy the outdoors. After much research and deliberation, we decided to trust Arrowhead Brick Pavers with this complex project and are incredibly happy we did! From the initial consultation with Jaime Mayorga, to the final finishing touches, Jaime and the Arrowhead team exceeded our expectations in every way. They were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and patient, taking the time to understand our vision and offering expert advice throughout the process. They were always available to answer our questions and address any concerns we had, making us feel confident and informed every step of the way. The workers themselves were a true pleasure to have around. They were always on time, respectful of our home and property, and meticulous in their work. Their attention to detail was truly impressive, and I was constantly amazed by their skill and craftsmanship. They truly took pride in their work, and it showed in the final product. The completed patio is absolutely stunning. It's even more beautiful than we could have ever imagined, and it's become the heart of our outdoor living space. We've already hosted countless gatherings with friends and family, and everyone is in awe of the quality and craftsmanship. We're so grateful to Arrowhead Brick Pavers for turning our dream into reality. At a reasonable cost and within our initially discussed budget. I would highly recommend Jaime and Arrowhead Brick Pavers to anyone considering a patio or any other outdoor construction project. They are a true testament to professionalism, quality, and exceptional customer service. I'm confident that you will be as thrilled with their work as we are! Five stars all around!"

"Marcin OF Martin Hardwood Flooring did a fantastic job! The floor looks 100% better then when they were first installed. There were spaces between boards, chips where the finish was gone and lots of dents. the wood came with a very high polish which showed the imperfections and Marcin made the wood look fabulous. He finished the work in two days and we decided to let the finish cure an extra night so on the third day his crew came to lift the stove, rerigerator and table back into the kitchen. His price was the best out of four and if you want someone that does a really great job, he is the person to hire. Doorways, cabinets, and counters were all covered with plastic! I could not have asked for more of anything! Padding rugs were even put down for the temporary placement of my stove and refrigerator in my living room."

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

For many people, a gazebo is worth it, but it’s a matter of personal preference. If you love spending time outside but your yard doesn’t offer much protection from the sun or rain, then adding a gazebo might be worthwhile. Or, if you enjoy hosting dinner parties and want a nice outdoor space to gather with your friends, a gazebo could be a good investment.

The average cost to build or install a gazebo is around $5,700, with prices typically ranging from $3,000 to $10,000. The final cost depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. For example, square gazebos and those made from metal can be more expensive, while brick is a more affordable material. Adding custom features like built-in seating or lighting will also increase the price. You can potentially save money by purchasing a prefabricated kit or performing some of the labor yourself.

The main purpose of a gazebo is to provide a covered space for people to gather comfortably. They’re an excellent place for summertime get-togethers because the roof protects you and your guests from the sun. However, gazebos can also serve as a design feature, adding a bit of charm to a backyard or garden.

Porticos last 25 to 60 years, depending on the material used. A portico’s roof typically matches the roof of the rest of the home and can be replaced simultaneously. Portico columns have a similar life span if properly maintained and regularly sealed. In some areas, harsh weather and extreme temperatures may cause a portico to wear more quickly.

Yes, many gazebos are permanent structures built onto the land. However, if you have a portable gazebo that isn’t secured to the ground, you’ll want to check the manufacturer’s instructions to understand when to put it away. Generally speaking, when it’s particularly windy or wet outside, you should take down your temporary gazebo.
