From my experience every option needs to be explained to the customer in detail , in order to reach the best possible outcome that will accommodate your budget and the structural design of the project . Some times because of the nature of existing structure in the house ( like sub floor material , room size , light intensity etc , or if is an apt were the condominium association has their own set of rules in regards with what kind of work can be done in the unit ) we may have to work a lot with the customers in order to find the perfect solution that will bring the desired look .
