"They charged me $917 for replacing the inducer motor. I had to call three times for a break down of cost of parts and labor. They said the cost for the motor was $725, and labor was $192. They also charge a $80 fee for coming out. This fee is waved if they do the work. However, the waver was probably added to the cost of the motor. I checked on line for the cost of the motor. It was less than a $100. That is the most I have paid for any kind of service like that. They are very crooked. I will never use them again.This is the first time I have ever written a negative review about a company."

"This company? Absolutely amazing. We had and emergency today with our bathroom. Toilet backed up and tub did also. 3 hours of trying to clear it, i couldnt. Even my snake didn't work. Ryan came out in a few course. Showed us the camera inside our pipes. Explained in detail where our issue was with the blockage from tree roots. He cut them out and problem resolved. Extremely professional and police. This man deserves a raise. I will DEFINITELY use them again. I see exactly why they are highly rated and recommended. I was searching for someone fast. They were the first pop up. So glad I called them. This was what was in our pipes. Ryan get it cut out pretty fast. Yes those are tree roots, not a dead animal lol But ive never dealt with a home repair company that was so polite. Yes it as a pricey repair, but the quality of work and politeness and how well he cleaned up our bathroomwhen finished, make it work every penny. Thank you again and please give him a raise. Yes, sewage smells can originate from a floor drain. If the P-Trap in the floor drain dries out or if there's a clog or other issue in the plumbing system, sewer gasses can escape through the drain, causing nasty odors. Regularly pouring water into the drain helps maintain the water seal and prevent those smells, but if the smell persists, you should have a plumbing professional inspect the drain for potential problems.

A two-way cleanout can help if there’s already a clog, but the best strategy to prevent one is by not rinsing grease, oil, or fat down your drains, not flushing or rinsing coffee grounds or egg shells down your drains, flushing only human waste and toilet paper (so no diapers, period products, bathroom wipes, or paper towels), and using drain guards on all of your drains.

Thankfully, it’s pretty rare to find a rat in your toilet. It’s more likely in larger cities with big sewer systems that can be feeding grounds for rats, but even then, you still shouldn’t fret. 

“I wouldn’t worry too much about rats coming up through the sewers,” Bradshaw says. “I’d say only one out of a thousand rodent customers we get actually have this problem. And of the 20 or some customers that have had this happen, they’ve all only had just one rat come up this way.”

With a one-way cleanout, you can access your sewer line from one direction. Depending on the way it curves, a plumber can either access the side of the pipe that goes into your home or the side that goes to your yard. On the other hand, two-way cleanouts allow pros to access both sides of the sewer line, thanks to their dual-pipe design (they’re usually U-shaped).
