"David McLaughlin and his workers were very good at creating a back yard for us with paver patio and walkway. one thing I appreciated is that David took the time to listen to our vision for creating a back yard space that compliments the lake view. He did a rendering and it was far more beautiful than we expected. We had Custom Landscapes install an above ground pool and loved his idea to build a deck around the oval pool. We appreciate Dave's communication when a product was delayed or we had weather related issues he would let us know. "I hired Mike in May of 2024 to tear down and then re-build a two level deck. Mike advised that they would start the project in July. On July 2 he advised that JULIE would come out and that work would commence on July 22. No one showed on July 22 at which time I outreached to him and he said that they were behind on another job and would not be able to start for a few more weeks. At this point i had moved all the patio furniture and outdoor stuff off my deck, which was frustrating. The work didn't start until mid-August. We had expected this to be a two week job and to use the yard for a memorial service we were having but the deck took until February to complete- nearly 6 months. During that time he failed two deck inspections, his guys hit a gas line and there was a rotation of workers here, none of whom seemed to really know what they were doing. We used the upper deck about 4 times before our latch fell off the gate. He has not fixed the problem."
