I worked for a large supplier to the residential construction industry for 15 years. During that time I visited hundreds of job sites, often with inspectors. I am not a builder, but I know the difference between quality construction and poor. From design through completion, Marvon was top notch! Same can be said for the subcontractors selected by Marvon. Our project included a two bedroom/full bath addition, replacement of flooring throughout the house and a new deck off the addition. We couldn't be happier that we chose Marvon!

Oh we can't say enough about Rueben and his crew.. the work was top notch and talk about craftsmanship, there is no comparison.. we were on a budget and they came through and made everything work. We had a sunroom and bath added to our h ome and we just love them. The crew of guys were always very polite and just a great group of young men doing the best job we could of imagined. Ruben was always on top of the job, making sure things were done right. He came every day to check on his crew and asked if we had any concerns. So on that note if you need any construction on your home or business give this company a call, you won't be sorry.

Marvon Construction is an amazing company to work with. They are very efficient and knowledgeable about what we needed done. We didn’t know a lot about what needed done and how to do it but they were very helpful at walking us through the project and the best way to do it. We will for sure be using them again in the near future for more projects. We would highly recommend them to anyone who needs anything done.

I truly could not say enough good things about this business! I had been trying to find someone to do the work for years to no avail, I called Mr. Ruben and he was here within the hour to see about the job! The entire crew was amazing and did exceptional work... and in a timely manner! Very polite and courteous as well. I will hire them for any and everything I need done exclusively, honestly. Glad I came across them!

Marvon Construction built our garage last fall. We are so happy with it, we had them build a deck for us this summer. Reuben met with us several times for the design and to show us examples and discuss the features of the composite product. He met our requests and offered a few suggestions. Our carpenters were friendly and very conscientious with our property. When we found water damage from the previous deck, they offered a solution and added it to the project. Throughout the project, they offered great communication regarding the status, next steps, coordination with our other contractor, and the estimated completion date. They finished the deck on schedule, and it exceeds our expectations.

Reuben and his crew were wonderful. We had them install the metal siding, shingle roofing and metal roofing on our home (which is new construction). They were prompt, friendly, professional, and provided excellent quality work. We will be using them again this summer to do work on our dock at Lake Mattoon. A big THANK YOU to everyone at Marvon Construction!

We wanted the garage to match our new house Reubon and crew did an excellent job. We liked the garage so much we had them build a big deck also. The cost was about the same as the mass produced, size fits all one we had priced. Could not have been happier with the experience and result!

What I really liked was that the carpenters were having an enjoyable time working together and used clean language--no swearing or tearing others down with their words.

Marvon Construction is a CertainTeed Shingle Master. They used top of the line material. Their workmanship is outstanding. The plants and bushes around the house were unharmed. On job site personnel were very polite and easy to get along with. Time frame of work completed: 1 day for removal and 1 day for replacement for 32 squares. Addition was built in 2017. All workers are very dependable. The material they used was top of the line and their quality of work was outstanding!

They did good job.

He is a person of detail, he came back and looked at everything. The crew cleaned up every evening before going home - including using a magnet to pick up all the nails. After the work was completed they reseeded a section of our lawn where a trailer had gone over the grass; we hadn't asked him to do it, he just went beyond the call of duty to take care of us.

We are extremely satisfied with our deck that was built by Marvon Construction. From start to finish, we perceived Reuben to be open to our vision, coming up with ways to achieve a truly unique feature which extends our living space. When onsite, everyone was friendly and goal oriented. We look forward to working with Reuben and his team on a future project

Marvon took down a wall so we could remodel our kitchen and replace d windows. They did excellent work and was very easy and polite to work with. Very reasonable priced as well. I would recommend them if anyone is in need of remodeling.

Marvon construction built a two car detached garage on our place. All phases of the job were amazing in workmanship and work ethic, we were in rate air. The workers, from the concrete guys, the builders, the gutters and the door guys played with my retriever if that tells you anything about what kind of people they are.

Marvon construction sited my garage in June 2017, when I met Rueben I felt an immediate sense of honesty and trust worthiness, and yes, I was right!! Very reasonable prices and excellent work. They do impeccable work with respectable young men on the crew. They cleaned up everything including nails that got in the yard. I give them a 10, great people great work.

Reuben responded to my HomeAdvisor request almost immediately. He went and looked at the job two days later and gave me a professional bid within a week. We had our new Metal roof on in a matter of weeks. We are very happy with the job they did and they cleaned up the job site great. I would highly recommend them.
