"T & C Welders was AWESOME! Prompt, Professional & Precise in both their work & response to our questions & concerns. They arrived timely and created a wrought iron fence other Welders said couldn't be executed. The results exceeded our expectations. Moreover, the price was fair & reasonable. We will be calling on them again & highly recommend them to anyone with welding projects they may be considering."

"Highly recommend Dave! We had kind of an unusual project (fixing a ceramic kiln) that several other mobile welders didn’t even want to look at. When he came to look at it, he considered the fix we asked for but suggested a longer term solution rather than the band-aid solution we planned on. Turnaround time and cost were both great."

"Hard working, did a great job, hired them to cut my existing wrought iron railing and make a gate so I could enter my condo, very pleased, so glad I took a chance and read all the reviews."

"We were looking for someone who could create a railing for our front porch that matched a decorative rail on our upper level balcony. Juan gave us a quote that was fair and broke down the components of fabrication and powder coating so we were clear about the costs going in. He was a delight to work with, communicated with us when our requested powder coat finish would result in additional cost, and delivered on time. Highly recommend!"

"Mustafa was awesome. He came same day with estimate and fixed next morning (wrought iron fence). He also provided suggestions and nailed down any loose boards I had around the property. He was very nice and professional, I would definitely recommend him to others."

Wrought Iron questions, answered by experts

Clean regularly, inspect for rust, and repaint or seal to prevent corrosion.

No, fence posts aren’t always set in concrete. If you don’t want to use concrete footings for your posts, expanding foam is a popular alternative. Expanding foam and concrete each have certain pros and cons. For instance, foam is easier to install and more sustainable, but concrete is sturdier and less expensive.

A horizontal fence is typically more expensive to build than a vertical fence, often costing between 10% and 20% more. The higher cost is due to the need for a higher grade of lumber and more posts to prevent the boards from sagging, which increases both material and labor expenses. Despite the higher price, horizontal fences tend to be more durable and offer a more distinct, modern look compared to the more common vertical picket style. However, they may not be the best option for privacy, as there can be slight gaps between the horizontal rails.

The most durable metal for a fence is wrought iron. With proper care, a wrought iron fence can last for centuries. This means regular resealing to stave off rust and corrosion, especially in coastal climates with salty sea air. In these environments, chain link and corrugated fencing tend to stand up better to the elements with fewer maintenance needs.

A living snow fence acts much like a man made snow fence, but is a windbreak of trees, shrubs, and native grasses. It acts much like any snow fence as it controls how snow drifts and blows into specific areas. The plants that make up a living snow fence are often seen along ditches,  roads, farms and communities.
