"We have a 1920s bungalow with a cinderblock foundation and routine seepage issues.  Interior drain tile was also an option but with a partially finished basement, I think ultimately would have been more expensive after putting walls back together, etc..  And, personally i'd rather stop the water before it enters the house.  I felt as though i was getting the "cookie cutter" solution from the other highly rated angies list waterproofers and they definitely like to nickel and dime on their expensive battery backup systems.  Chuck spent a considerable more time at the house, didn't give us the BS sales presentation with all of the pamphlets, gave us a timely quote, and ultimately just made us feel the most comfortable.  
The job went very well and I wouldn't hesitate to use High Tech for additional jobs in the future.  Chuck is very professional and responsive, easy to work with.  It took a while to coordinate with the excavator which is subbed out, but we were in no big rush and everything worked out great.  The job took four days.  We've had some heavy fall rains and not a drop of water in the basement.

"I am not sure that I go what I wanted. My basement floor is unfinished, and it has a crack in it, so I assumed they  would repair it like the way they repair a crack in a wall, and they didn't. They poured in a crack filler, which runs about 13 Dollars at Home Depot. I don't think it was worth 149 Dollars for a crack filler, and he was here less than 20 minutes. The crack has been filled, but it wasn't what I wanted, and before he did that, he said he would look at the basement and there were 3 cracks but he offered to repair the one on the floor. He could have chosen to repair the crack in the wall for 149 Dollars."

"From the first communication to the last, the company was responsive and professional.  We settled on a particular clean up day due to the city yard waste pick-up timing.   Two employees (owner and staff or two co-owners) arrived on time; did a walk around the yard to confirm which plants to pull and which to leave -- (I requested to leave some perennials) and mentioned they hoped to go in a neighbors yard in order to blow leaves to my yard  without adding to the neighors.  I called the neighbor to keep their dog in and over the fence one worker went!  They set to work and completed the yard clean up efficiently and afterwards asked that I check that they had completed it to my satisfaction or if they were any areas I felt needed more attention.  Nothing more needed.  I pride myself on getting my yard cleaned up for winter, but with my busy fall schedule I didn't think I had the time to commit to it.   I have to admit, they prepared it better than I could have, despite the great fall weather we had.  After they left a neighbor called to tell me how impressed she was with the way it looked!
I will definitely consider hiring them again; and based on their attention to detail I am considering getting an estimate for a garden wall I want to add to my home.
