"They had the whole tree taken down within the afternoon. The tree was surrounded by power lines, which no other tree service could handle with the equipment they had. They pulled out the remaining roots that would've damaged our newly paved driveway . We also were very satisfied with their landscaping . Highly recommended! They will be the first to call if we need any work done."

"Ben and his crew were professional, on time, and very considerate of our specific needs. They removed two very large trees, trimmed another one, and ground out both tree stumps. They cleaned up our yard and removed all the debris. We would definitely use their services again."

"When disaster struck our house, Robert and Right Way Tree and Outdoor Services was there when we needed them most. Within an hour his crew was there, removed the tree from our home, and had us patched up. They even helped us through the claim process to get it approved through our insurance. Best service I've EVER seen!"

"First I must say that I am a disabled veteran on a limited budget. Tree surgeons were great! Not only did they do the work of topping off a very large maple tree, they bid around 1/2 of other companies that were locally owned, but not on Angie. They were very punctual and polite! Their crew was genuinely friendly! They did an awesome job on clean up! They did not damage anything on the property! I will only use tree surgeons in future! These are the only ones I would recommend to anyone ! Awesome job to the tree surgeons crew and owners!!!!!!! JL"

"The All Haul crew were polite, on time and did an excellent job. My property is surrounded by woods with many mature trees. I was gone for three weeks in November so there was a significant amount of leaves and other debris in the yard. I'm impressed with how nice the yard looks now!"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

For small trees, tree removal should take just a couple of hours to complete. Assume that a mid-sized tree will take between four and eight hours, depending on the extent of the equipment required and the health of the tree. Remember to add up to two hours for stump removal. Larger trees could take as long as one or two working days, about eight hours each.

Palm tree stumps can take as long as seven to ten years to rot naturally. Whereas some tree stumps rot within a year, palm trees tend to last longer due to their deep root networks. Chemical rotting (described above) can help speed the process up so your palm tree stumps rot in under two months.

A standard tree removal doesn’t include stump grinding. If you want your contractor to remove your tree and grind the stump, you must pay an extra charge. That said, you’ll likely save on the cost of stand-alone service—especially if it’s a small tree and they can finish both jobs in a single trip.

It can be bad to leave a dead stump in the ground. A stump becomes a hefty piece of dead wood in time and eventually (especially with the help of rain) starts to rot. That makes it a locus point for diseases and pesky insects, as well as a bit of an eyesore. It’s best to remove a tree stump completely before it starts to decay, especially before it starts to fall apart. If the tree was removed because of disease, it’s even more important to fully remove the stump if possible.

State and local laws vary, but in most cases, you are allowed to trim any branches from your neighbor's tree that cross your property line. However, it's important to ensure you do not damage the overall health of the tree in the process. Removing branches incorrectly can jeopardize the health of the tree and could lead to you being on the hook to replace it.
