"Where do I start.... I called Dave once we closed on our house. The entire Interior / trim needed wallpaper removal, and fresh paint. Luckily I had and empty house to work with for about a month. He made sure he squeezed me in before we moved, which was a huge plus. After discussing my budget, we came to an agreement on a price that was more than reasonable. He and his team worked day / night / weekends to make sure it was done on time. I took forever to pick out colors, etc... and he never was impatient with me. He finished 90% of it on time, the other part was because I couldn't make a descision on color for that area. He came after we moved in and knocked that out promptly. Any touch ups, fixes etc that were needed, he came and did with no issue. He even took the liberty of going out and purchasing all the new air vents, and other things we needed. He even came back and repainted the kitchen completely after we wanted to change the color. I would highly recomend his company, and will use him again. Stand up guy."

Pre Made Cabinets questions, answered by experts

The cost to install a kitchen island ranges from $900 to $6,500, with an average price of around $4,800. The final cost depends on whether you buy a prefabricated unit or have one custom-built. Prefabricated kitchen islands are generally cheaper. A simple prefabricated cart can cost between $150 and $900, while a permanent, stationary prefabricated island costs from $900 to $5,000. A custom-built kitchen island averages around $4,800 but can cost $10,000 or more depending on factors like materials, size, design complexity, and accessibility.

Walls in good condition with an even surface should be fine for frameless cabinet installation. Older, uneven, or warped walls could create problems. Your studs and their spacing are especially important, since frameless cabinets rely so much on wall attachments. Call in a professional installer for a consultation if you aren’t sure.

Some municipalities require permits for wall-mounted furniture installations, particularly when structural modifications are necessary. Always make sure to check local building codes before starting your Murphy bed installation project. Your Murphy bed installer will be familiar with local codes and handle the permitting process, ensuring your project complies with all relevant regulations.

Most cabinetry made for a garage will have special coatings and finishes built to withstand extreme heat and cold, moisture, pest damage, rusting, and dry rot. However, many homeowners have put their old kitchen cabinets in the garage, added a couple of fresh coats of paint, and use them for a while without too much wear and tear.

In a kitchen installation, starting with the foundation and structural elements before moving on to the finishing touches is essential. Framing, plumbing, and utilities should go first, followed by cabinetry and countertops, then plumbing fixtures and new appliances. Flooring, paint, tile backsplashes, and similar finishing touches should get installed last.
