Ray met other quotes in price and scope of work, and provided the final contract in a timely manner. The crew showed up on time everyday of the project, and worked hard each day (in the extreme heat!). The workmanship was outstanding and they cleaned up after the project perfectly. Fortune RestorationI've used Fortune Restoration in the past when I managed condominium buildings. After seeing the cedar siding work they did on a friend's house I decided to call Tom Fortune for my own residence. Tom took the time to listen and called his lead carpenter to discuss the various siding and trim options. He was able to write the estimate on the spot. They started quickly and there were no delays once they began. Their crews were communicative and professional. Tom also stopped by regularly to inspect the workmanship and make sure I was satisfied. Fortune removed the existing metal siding on the house, replaced the soffit and fascia with PVC which was quite labor intensive, sided the gable ends and small front dormer with cedar, stained the new cedar, and painted all the new trim and exterior windows. They left the area in very good condition. I'm very pleased with their responsiveness and quality of the work and recommend them without reservation.- Patrick F.

Preemo Painting & Repairs Inc.We contacted Preemo Painting in early fall of 2020. We received a very reasonable estimate, and were told that the work could not be done before winter, but they would do some temporary fixes to protect our home. Also, they guarantee all work as long as you stick to a 5 year repaint schedule. Preemo started the work on March 28th and finished on April 3rd. All of the people who worked at our home were very considerate of us working inside our home, and they were all very knowledgeable and professional. The work they did was fantastic, and we are extremely happy with the results. Every area was repaired, including newly discovered problems we did not know about in the fall. The color was matched perfectly, and everything looks great. We wholeheartedly recommend Preemo Painting, and certainly plan on using them again in 5 years.- Angelo V.

Illinois Home Improvement CorpFrom the first day of demolition until the final door was painted on the outside we had people at our home working. We were able to live on the second floor during the whole remodel so we were aware of what went on everyday. Our contractor Eric was available when ever we called and kept us informed of everything that was happening. He helped us make changes that saved us money and guided us in areas we had no knowledge of. I would not call the people who came workers, they were artists who were very proud of the work they did. From the carpenters building an amazing new stair case to the painter who matched our existed stain exactly it was really interesting to watch the transition. The plumbers and electricians worked miracles because the existing was huge mess! I can not leave out the office staff because they were very kind any time we called and helped with any financial questions we had. I would never go to anyone else to have my home done. Such a great experience from start to finish. Howard and his team did an AMAZING job painting our preschool. As you can imagine, the walls at the school take a lot of wear and tear and after his team was finished, it was as if it was BRAND new.
