"Howard showed up at appointed time and looked over the widows I wanted replaced and told me about his windows and showed some samples of the quality. His prices were very good and he sent his instaler out that week to get accurate measure of the windows to be replaced. I had the new windows installed within 2 weeks in time to get the federal tax credidt. The windows look great and really make a difference in my heat bill."

Small jobs welcome

"Set up appointment very quickly and explained pricing before they came out to the house. They not only fixed the sliding door but also fixed a screen and window handle and asked if I had any other window / door problems . Wow what service ! I would definitely recommend this company . "I recently had my window seal failures repaired, and the difference is night and day. Before the repair, I was dealing with foggy glass, drafts, and noticeable temperature fluctuations—especially during colder days. It not only looked bad but also made my home less comfortable and likely less energy efficient. The repair process was smooth and professional from start to finish. The work itself was completed efficiently, and Jon took care to keep everything clean and protected during the process. Now, my windows are crystal clear again, and the insulation has noticeably improved. There are no more drafts, and the rooms feel more consistent in temperature. It honestly feels like an upgrade to the entire house. If you’re dealing with failed window seals, I’d definitely recommend getting them repaired sooner rather than later—it makes a bigger difference than you might expect."

"Excellent workmanship and products I have had three installations with Power in the past two years. I first used them for a new roof and gutters. The workers were all knowledgeable in their area of work. Clean up was good although some nails kept showing up over time. Next I had the 2nd floor windows and some 1st floor windows replaced, 9 in total. Installation went well and they cleaned up beautifully afterwards. I love the windows! They are a beautiful and energy efficient product. Lastly, I recently had a bay window replaced in my kitchen with the same type window. The workers ere all friendly and explained what would be done. The area was draped with plastic to cut down on dust. Clean up was excellent inside and outside! The window is beautiful and the framing on the outside of the window matches the other windows and the small roof above the bay window was replaced with the same roofing as the rest of the house. I would choose them again for any future projects."

"I am so grateful that I saw a review for a company that could replace the glass on our sliding door. It had hazed so badly we could barely see through it. Ahmed responded swiftly to my query, set up a convenient, masked, appointment, and gave us a 2 week completion date for a price that was much better than the cost of replacing the whole unit. Well, it was finished in less than 2 weeks, and he came over this morning ~ and oh my heavens, it is beautiful. After years of hazy glass, it's almost a miracle! The replacement was done with great care, and everything was cleaned up perfectly afterward. Wonderful experience...Highly recommended."

Windows questions, answered by experts

The entire window replacement process, from the initial consultation to the final installation, typically takes between four and 15 weeks. This timeline accounts for measuring appointments, ordering, and manufacturing. On the day of the job, the physical installation takes about 30 minutes to two hours per window. A full-house replacement can take one to three days to complete. Factors that can extend this timeline include the total number of windows, custom sizes, complex window types, second-story installations, and any necessary repairs to existing window frames or openings.

Glass block windows aren’t fire hazards; fire-rated glass block windows can increase your home’s fire safety. Modern glass blocks are made with materials that can resist high temperatures and prevent fire spread. Most offer a 45-minute fire rating, while some increase it to two hours. Compared to the typical 20 to 90 minute rating for a double-pane window, glass block can increase your home’s safety in the event of a fire.

Bay windows are not easy to install because they are heavy and require specific tools and woodworking experience. You’ll also need to install a roof cab, flashing, and shingles. Ensuring the window is level and sealed can be tricky but it is important because it prevents air leakage and water from entering your home. Most often, an experienced window pro should install bay windows.

Yes, you can fix windows without replacing them. However, this will depend on the severity of the issue and what your needs are. Minor water damage, broken glass, damaged casing, and worn caulking are usually easy repairs. But if there is excessive damage, the windows are constantly foggy, or the windows are very old, it’s best to consider replacing them. Replacement windows cost between $575 and $1,475 per window, or an average of $850 per window.

Yes, egress windows can significantly add value to a home. By making basement and attic areas safer and more livable, they allow you to market these spaces as finished living areas, which increases your property's value. Many homeowners can recover the full installation cost, with some sources citing a return on investment of around 70%. The exact value added depends on your specific home, location, and adherence to local building codes. Beyond financial value, egress windows enhance functionality by adding natural light and comfort. They are also a crucial safety feature, often mandated by building codes to serve as an emergency exit.
