"The paving team they have is amazing! They took a little longer than expected but wow. They did an amazing job replacing my driveway and making it seamless! My expectations weren't very high because I work with many companies for my job and know how most contractors work but these guys are so different. They care about their work and the client's satisfaction! I had 3 other companies quote me and grade A was higher in price but steve knew what he was talking about as soon as he saw my drive. The village was giving them issues about depth but didnt know what the end goal was so they did have to pay a fee that teve told me about immediately. I will be contracting them again for future sealcoats and any other asphalt needs. Highly recommended!"

You should place a layer of thick landscaping fabric directly over the concrete slab and then a thin layer of leveling sand over that to protect the pavers from moisture. For border pavers, you should plan on locking them in place with polyurethane adhesive. This will prevent them from shifting under foot traffic.

It takes recycled asphalt 48 hours to initially harden and up to 3 months to fully cure. It’s best to stay off of recycled asphalt for at least 48 hours, then you can walk or drive standard vehicles on it. Hold off on driving heavy trucks or equipment on it for at least 7 days. Additionally, using bare soil instead of making a paver bed with compacted gravel and sand can cause sinking over time. To fix sunken pavers, consider recompacting the base and addressing any drainage or erosion issues in the area.

Although you could try to lay stepping stones directly over grass, which speeds up the installation process significantly, this method often leads to a poor result over time. Even heavy paver stones will eventually slide or shift on top of the grass.
