"The paving team they have is amazing! They took a little longer than expected but wow. They did an amazing job replacing my driveway and making it seamless! My expectations weren't very high because I work with many companies for my job and know how most contractors work but these guys are so different. They care about their work and the client's satisfaction! I had 3 other companies quote me and grade A was higher in price but steve knew what he was talking about as soon as he saw my drive. The village was giving them issues about depth but didnt know what the end goal was so they did have to pay a fee that teve told me about immediately. I will be contracting them again for future sealcoats and any other asphalt needs. Highly recommended!"

"This is the first time in my life I had to hire a snow removal service. I am 70 yrs old but a shoulder replacement has me temporarily side-lined! Gabriel provided the estimate and was very thorough in explaining the different pricing for various snow accumulations and also how those amounts "add up" if there are multiple clearings necessary with very large snow accumulations. Naturally, the first event this year was a record setting storm. The first clearing was prompt with a 4am clearing of at least 6" of snow, great if necessary to leave for work! The 2nd clearing was done @ approximately 6pm after another 6" accumulation. It appeared to me that they did what was necessary to keep a record setting snow event removal cost to a minimum and still provide good service to a customer. I am well pleased!"

"Rivera Concrete Paving's $8,500 bid became $11,000. Owner Magdiel Rivera adds charges after you're committed and doesn't follow through after payment. Cost increases: I mentioned roots upfront - he said equipment could handle it, then charged $450. Said grading unnecessary, then created false urgency claiming we HAD to grade before concrete. Later said could grade after. Added $1,800. Crew broke drainage pipes, charged me $250. Couldn't move AC condenser despite my asking during estimate. Payment tactics: Said pay "when satisfied." Then requested half early, then full payment before done. When I said work incomplete, he asked "Don't you trust me?" then broke promises. Broken promises: Walkway cured wrong, no follow-up. $1,800 grading included 3-month landscaping - no communication. Promised debris cleanup, later said not responsible. Damaged 4-month fence, couldn't repair properly, paid $300 after pressure. Dismisses costs at estimate, adds them later. Makes promises, then excuses."
