"We have just had AOM complete work on our home. If you are on the fence about using this company, I hope this review helps. The interior of our home had not been painted since it was built (about 2003). It still had the flat contractors paint and some areas were looking decidedly worse for wear.Being pregnant with a toddler on the loose, we decided not to attempt the painting ourselves. I commenced obtaining quotes. Generall,y when having work of any kind done on our home or appliances, I prefer to go with a company that has been recommended to us by friends or family we trust. So we had a number of companies from around the local area come to give us quotes. However, I spotted AOM on Angie's List and was intrigued by their offers and more importantly, the reviews people gave them.I decided to call them for a quote. Well, they were super fast in getting back to me and David offered to come out the next day to provide a quote. After a walk through and explanation of what we needed, he was able to quote me on the spot.We had a relatively tight schedule to get the painting done. We decided to have it done whilst we were away overseas. Certain past experiences have left me largely mistrustful of giving my home over to anyone while I am away, but after chatting with David and Ashly, the owners of AOM, I felt confident that we were in good hands. Ashly was so great in helping us to decide on exact colors to match our general idea of a color scheme, coming over more than once to put up paint swatches in the different rooms in different areas so we would be able to tell how it would look regardless of time of day. I can't tell you how many color samples we tried before we made our final choices. My mother in law was gracious enough to offer to be on hand to help out with daily concerns, and the AOm team worked so well with her. She was completely impressed - not an easy feat with her! Before we left we had constant communication with Ashly, who even helped me choose paint scents.While we were away, we got regular updates, with pictures from AOm as well as an online work board so I would be completely in the loop with the work done/to be done. We returned the day before yesterday and LOVE the work they have done. We are so incredibly happy and impressed with the work they did. They did all our ceilings,our walls, fixed cracks and dents where needed,painted the walls and to my absolute delight, managed to get my dinged baseboards and door frames looking like new again.They also took care of the smaller details, like kindly replacing globes they saw had blown out. Today, David came by for a walk through to ensure we were happy with everything. There were a few minor things that he fixed right there on the spot. Needless to say, all their fantastic reviews are well deserved.They work hard, work smart, have integrity, and are so very accommodating to their customer's needs. "Mr. Ferrell first connected his computer to my computer via internet and worked for quite a few hours trying to determine what exactly was wrong. The next day he continued working from his computer for several hours. He determined he would have to have my desktop tower to complete the repair. He and my son met in Huntsville to exchange the tower. He then cleaned up a lot of what was wrong and reloaded Windows 10. He deleted the D: drive which had way too much memory allotted to it. The tower was returned and I plugged it all back together and it is working better than it did when I first purchased it. I would use him again and I recommend him highly to anyone needing computer updating and/or repair. His work is warrantied and he is very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful."
"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."
"The first job we had Foreston Construction do was build and install a 6 wooden privacy fence. The crew actually started and finished job 2 weeks ahead of original estimated start date. Other than a 1 day delay because of rain and my adding to original project agreed on ( added a double gate ) the entire job was completed in very timely manner. As for price, seemed on high side to me, but it has been over 15 years since I last had to hire contractor for a job involving lumber. Overall very satisfied. We also had a wall heater installed. Kelly kept calling subcontractors, until he found someone to come and do the job that day. Went the extra mile to please customer Next we had Kelly install an exterior door. Had to cut out hole in wall, as there was no door to start with. This was done so we could enter backyard that was now fenced in. Decided to have doggie door put in. Kelly contacted my wife to get specs on the dogs. First doggie door wrong size. Kelly called several vendors until got right size. Kelly paid the delivery fee to have delivered same day. Had to modify door to include the doggie door. Worked until everything completed. He even keyed all of my exterior doors to same key. Already got next project started. Getting windows replaced. Got alll the measurements, windows ordered waiting on them to be delivered. Again they seem on high side price wise, but like always you get what you pay for. I could be wrong on cost, they could be right on the money. Either way, I am happy with there work, better yet wife is too ( that s who s opinion matters ) I would recommend them for any project you have.
