"I really enjoyed having this company do my project which was a deck and new door installation. Job was complete in a timely manner. They are a professional team of solid workers and super friendly. I rehired them to install a yard gate that had collapsed. Both jobs look superb!"

Small jobs welcome

"This company lived up to their 5 star rating, which is why I chose them over the other estimates I received.. Jasmine was here almost daily to check to make sure that everything was going smoothly and to see whether I had any questions. The gentleman who painted my house did an excellent job. I am extremely pleased with the color and the work and this company"

"The sales rep was excellent. He was timely, informative and efficient. He followed up at the right times and place; and was never pushy. He even followed up after the work was done. Everything went smooth as silk. The painting team was also very good. They too were timely, efficient, polite and kept me informed. I also like the fact that they were very respectful with my property in moving furniture abut and protecting it from paint. Their work spanned 2 days, so they had to use the same equipment both days. They didn't just leave their equipment in a pile at the end of the first day but rather placed out of the way after requesting permission to leave it there overnight. I would definitely use their services again should the need arise."

Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

Yes, many repair services include repainting to match the color of the existing siding or walls. Most professionals offer this service to ensure the repaired area blends in seamlessly.

Stain is meant to be absorbed by the porous wood, allowing some of the natural grain to show through. With that in mind, you don’t want to add more stain than the wood can absorb, as you risk covering up its natural markings. Generally, two coats is the maximum you should do, although very dense hardwoods may only be able to take a single coat.

You should refinish your deck to maintain its appearance, durability, and longevity. Refinishing your deck protects the wood from foot traffic and the elements. It also helps extend its life span by keeping rot, mildew, and termites at bay. By maintaining your deck, you can avoid the cost of replacing your deck sooner. A refinished deck also looks great and restores some of its original beauty.

There are deck restoration products and oil-based wood stains that can help bring back some of the color and shine to your faded Trex decking. However, if your boards are suffering from serious fading due to UV rays or chemical cleaning products, don’t expect miracles. Also, these products are only suitable for use on the older Trex boards, not the capped, second-generation Trex products.

You’ll want to avoid excessively hot or humid conditions, so it’s best to apply your stain in late spring to early fall. It's also important to watch the weather forecast and aim for days when there isn’t rain expected for at least three days. For new decks, allow the wood to season beforehand for at least four to eight weeks.
