So we decided to also replace old blinds in the kitchen eating area with beautiful new white Normans louvered shutters. We also chose a Hunter Douglas Duette Power honeycomb top-down/bottom-up design shade in gray for the master bedroom window that has both a remote and wall power unit. The prices were great and we love the look and quality. Plus Doug is a pleasure to work with!"

I priced out replacements with installation that would be an estimate of $500.00 for the identical blinds. I had success with a previous home advisor experience so I decided to search for someone who could offer repairmen. Garrett Swanson contacted immediately. I sent him pictures of the blinds and he quoted me $30.00 per blind and a $40.00 trip charge and would repair at my home without dismantling them. He was very professional, did excellent work and saved me $400.00. I would highly recommend him."

I felt like he was meticulous in the details and making sure the job was done right, and he answered my questions patiently. Price was more than fair given the time he spent completing the work. The "B" grade for responsiveness was more a communication issue with the office. When scheduling the appointment, I was given a window of 8-9am. I had requested that someone comes after 8:30 so I can get my kids on the school bus. I was assured that would not be a problem but I don't think that message was passed on to Gary, who came at 8:05 when I was walking out with my kids. Also it seemed like I should have gotten an email confirming details prior to the appointment day, which I didn't receive. Besides these glitches in communication, everything worked out smoothly and I would consider using Handyman Pros again."
