"Chad had me from the description of how critical prep work is to a good job. And Kyle and Dakota worked hard at it. Had a lot of wallpaper to remove (4 rooms & a tall stairway and hall); and drywall to repair (from settling and damage). They spent 2-3 days on prep. They also helped with a water condensation problem at the bathroom exhaust fan (5th room). Also did 3 closets. The paint looks fabulous. We have a few bedrooms that need some paint too. Will probably call them again."

In most cases, you’ll need to install at least a moisture barrier between the concrete and the flooring you choose.

If you want your carpet to last as long as possible, then yes, you need to install carpet padding. Carpet padding creates a layer of protection between the back of your carpet and the floor beneath it, which decreases friction and reduces wear and tear.
